Everything! The house was spacious, plenty of comfortable bedrooms all with private bathrooms, the kitchen was extremely well appointed, the gardens were generous, well kept, and the shared spaces were comfortable and cozy. I cannot wait to make a return visit!

Excellent location, super responsive and helpful owner. Provided so much useful information and recommendations for the town and area. Has everything you need for a Westport and County Mayo family vacation. Including walking sticks that we used for climbing Croagh Patrick! Loved being able to walk so quickly to the center of town with all of its restaurants, shops and pubs. Nice enclosed yard/garden. Quiet little street.

A palace, seemless access , and great communication from our host , made us very welcome the moment we crossed the threshold, goodiesin fridge after a long drive in hazardous weather this weekend, but despite this our host had recommendation of venues for the weekend and on call if we had any queries, all in all, I don't think there is another establishment which will meet these high standards, the bar has been set extremely high , We were very cosy, a home from home , the house is setup with everything you can imagine, from cooking facilities and condement at hand to seemless ly prepare a meal , Both wash facilities set up will relaxation in mind and fragrances to pick from multitude of scented candles , internet tv , sit back relax in both sitting room or bedroom, extremely quiet despite the weather condition this weekend, heard not a peep from weather system Aisling, We cant recommend this home highly enough and would stay here again a multitude of times into the future if available

Breakfast is first class. Hotel is right in town, walk anywhere. The town is brilliant with friendly people, the perfect Irish village. I wish I had more time to explore the magnificent coastline and talk to more people in this timeless place.
This is a gem of a place. The setting is perfect and the house itself is gorgeous. I stayed in the Shepherd's Hut. Erica and John were so warm and obliging. They did everything to make sure that the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast is the best I've ever had in a hotel. This is glamping on another level if that's what you want, or the perfect small and luxurious hotel if that's your style. Thank you so much Erica & John.
Excellent location for exploring clew bay & Achill island. This gem of a guesthouse is just a short stroll from the lovely picturesque village of Newport, its full of character with stunning surroundings.
Newport is a lovely quiet village with amenities within five minutes walk of Moorings. It is on a pretty river inlet. The hosts Sharon and Connor were friendly and helpful.
We were on a relaxation break just for a couple of days and needed a nice relaxing base. Riverside was a perfect base in everyway. Nice to be able to drive to Achill and then relax on the return. Lovely relaxed village also. Food in the village was excellent as was the breakfast in Riverside in the mornings.
