5* Self Catering, hotel in Nenagh

25 miles from University of Limerick in Nenagh, 5* Self Catering features accommodations with access to a hot tub and fitness room. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

Stayed here a few weeks ago with family - Beautiful house in a really quiet/relaxing location with loads of onsite activities available for kids and a big garden as well. Tom facilitated an early check-in for us and also offered a late checkout which was greatly appreciated to allow us to give the kids lunch before heading off and communication throughout was really good. We'll definitely be back and have already recommended the location to a couple of friends.

The Waterside Cottages, hotel in Nenagh

The Waterside Cottages are set on the spectacular shores of Lough Derg on the River Shannon.

This is our 4th time to stay at the Waterside Cottages in the past few years. We have stayed in 4 of the houses now, and this time it was spotless as usual, very comfortable, and a lovely place to relax in for a few days. The lake is a really short walk away from the houses and is always the highlight of our visit to Dromineer. We brought racquets and tennis balls to play on the onsite court, which the kids love. There is a very nice playground on the walk down to the lake and that is suitable for kids up to 12. We usually drive into Nenagh for groceries, and this time we cooked all our meals at the house — lots of cookware, dishes, cups, glasses, cutlery, etc. — so it was very easy to do that. There was a Smart TV, and it was quite simple to log into our own accounts on various streaming platforms, which was handy for chilling out in the evening time. Thanks as always to Geraldine, who is such a great person to deal with, very friendly and efficient.

BARR AN CHNOIC HOLIDAY LETTINGS, hotel in Nenagh

BARR AN CHNOIC HOLIDAY LETTINGS is located in Tipperary, between Puckane and Dromineer, and offers free bikes, a garden and barbecue facilities. With lake views, this accommodations features a patio.

We had a family wedding in the Ashely Park Hotel in Nenagh, the house was ideal as it is very close to the Ashley Park Hotel (less than a 10 min drive) and there was 8 of us so was a great price and location. The local bus link passes by the house also. Helen and Margaret were amazing and made us feel so welcome and was always a text or phone call away. The peace and quiet looking out on Lough Derg was a bonus.

It is located in a very pretty village near Nenagh and is convenient to the town and the Motorways. The B&B was very well maintained and the owner was very helpful and friendly. The double bed (room 1) was one of the most comfortable that I’ve slept in and the place was spotless. En-suite shower was good with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. WiFi worked well and was easy to connect to using QR code provided. I’ll look to stay there again if I’m in the area.

Was a good location, small village with pub and park within a minutes walk away. The mini estate was next door to the marina so was great to watch everyone on their boats etc. The house was clean and had all basics for staying. And all the rooms were decent sized. Would definitely return.

Fantastic breakfasts in the homely cafe, which is a great hub for the village. Later in the day more substantial fayre for lunch and snacks, cakes and puddings for afternoon tea after a day of activities or just enjoying the lake side setting.
