Comfortable house, in a quiet location with views over Lough Rea.
Keys were left available to us and owner came over to greet us and show us around upon arrival.
Plenty of seating areas in the living areas and throughout the house.
The only downside would be lack of footpath to enable visitors to walk down to the Lough, and road busy.
Close to explore Galway, the Burren and Cliffs of Moher.
Located 50 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium, The Hill Cottage provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This holiday home features a terrace as well as a bar.

Everything was perfect, the house was prepared for the guests very professionally, very clean, the kitchen contained everything you could want during your stay (and during normal life too :-)). Very nice space in the garden for relaxation and fun. The bedrooms were nice and the space in them was sufficient. The location was also very good. Near bars, restaurants and shops. It was a very nice time for us. Thank you.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Lovely quaint village and former pub with such alot of character. Caroline is lovely!
Make sure you have fuel as the nearest petrol station is 8 miles but you can swim for free in the Shannon 8 miles away too in Portumna.
Friendly and very accommodating host. Very relaxing and peaceful village . A great cafe in-house and pub and shop within 50 yards… a great place to stay
Nice laid back accommodation in a quiet rural / peaceful setting.
Very good breakfast in the Café below the accommodation in what was once an old Village Pub.
Parking right out the front door.
Very well stocked upstairs kitchen for guest use An open fire in the sitting room.Hostess with the mostest, so welcoming, used our names when greeting us and was very welcoming. We also had a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed the pub next door and felt it was a very traditional Irish little village. I would love to spend another night in Gordon's.
A lovely guesthouse in a very charming village, with a friendly and welcoming host. The room was a good size, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was also a good size and well set out. Carolyn made a delicious breakfast in the delightful cafe downstairs. Handy parking outside. Recommended and would stay here again.
