The location was very nice. The key collection was easy, and there was plenty of space for the taxi to drop us off. The road up to the house can be a bit tight (to get to the stunning views!) and the local taxi drivers are pros at getting up to the house. We enjoyed sitting around the living room and having family time. The beds were comfortable and the house felt clean. We had adults in two of the rooms and three kids in the bunk room which worked great. We brought our own laundry detergent and did a load of wash. There is no clothes dryer so we used the outside drying rack. We were lucky to have a sunny day for the clothes. We had to contact Ryan a few times and he was responsive each time.

It’s centrally located, the studio is honestly outstanding, a space straight out of a magazine. Every inch of the room is designed for luxury with a great view.
The KKinsale was very clean and close to the village. It was only a few minutes' walk to the town. The host was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the area as well as restaurants to eat at. He was very accommodating to our schedule, allowing us to store our bags when arriving early and leaving late. The rooms were very comfortable. The coffee in-room fresh coffee was much appreciated. I especially appreciated the original art throughout the space. We would return if we had the opportunity.
Great location , isolated but within easy reach of all the sites with a car.Small village very close by with restaurants , shop and pub. Beds are comfy and good nights sleep were had by all. .
The best breakfast in Ireland during my 3 weeks of stay. Everything comfortable, luxurious breakfast room, which can also be used at evening to whatch the bay and the sailing ships. Owner is very friendly and helpful and he took us into town at evening, where he wanted to shop.
It's so quiet at evening, you can reach the town in 10-15 minutes walk, but there are some stairs...
What a fantastic property! We were greeted personally and given all of the information that we needed. The property was lovely and the location (between Kinsale and Cork City) was perfect. The small village center has a convenience store, petrol station, coffee shop, chippy, and a small pub. We loved interacting with the family dogs and horses. We would not hesitate to return.
The rooms are your own little mansion in Kinsale (they are really spacious). The shower is perfect and the bed is so good, you could spend the whole vacation in it. Kinsale is only a tiny village and when you stay at Friar's Lodge, you easily walk into town in a few minutes. Lovely place.
