We stayed three-nights at Deerpark Cottage in Inistioge, Kilkenny, and it was exceptional.
The spacious and beautifully appointed house provided all the necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free experience. We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful provisions of bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee, sugar, and a selection of spices, which made us feel immediately at home.
The abundance of blankets and linens added to our comfort, and the stunning views of the beautiful Irish countryside from the upstairs lounge made our day.
Niamh's (the host) attention to detail and excellent communication further enhanced our stay.
All locations for sightseeing were under 45 min drive.
We highly recommend Deerpark Cottage to anyone seeking a quiet and well-equipped retreat in a picturesque location.

Fantastic cute little cottage. Rooms and bathroom a bit smaller but suited us for our one night stay. Host has thought and provided everything that is needed from toothpaste, washing capsules for washing machine to breakfast. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Loved our stay.

Ideally located for visiting the nearby Mount Juliet estate, Kilkenny city and a number of nearby villages and places of historic interest. The host, Fred, was always in communication and was very friendly and helpful.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Woodstock arms for 3 nights while attending a nearby wedding. Annette and Richard were superb hosts, making us feel very welcome. Annette made sure we started each day with a delicious breakfast, her full Irish is delicious! Richard went above and beyond by giving us a lift when our taxi let us down last minute. The room was spacious, comfy and super clean. The village is quaint and picturesque. I highly recommend a stay here, thank you both for looking after us.

Great location for anyone interested in the historical sites in Inistioge and the surrounding area. Or indeed, if you just want to relax and wander around this very picturesque village. or along the banks of the river Nore. Excellent faclities, in the Woodstock Arms, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Just a short distance from Woodstock Arboretum and Gardens, also well worth a visit
We spent 1 night over the weekend and it was just great. From when we arrived, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our room was really lovely, and perfect for what we required. We both had a wonderful sleep. Having been at a wedding, the following morning, we were ready for Breakfast. The food was really tasty and plenty of it. The location was wonderful and Inistioge is a beautiful village - a great base too for exploring South Kilkenny.
Our host Annette was very warm and welcoming. The property is beautiful and situated right in the heart of the village. Myself and my wife had a very pleasant and relaxing stay for our wedding anniversary. Rooms are cosy and beds extremely comfortable. Inistioge is quiet and picturesque with lovely walks and Woodstock Gardens nearby. Well worth a visit.
The room was beautifully styled and felt luxurious. The bathroom was clean and the whole room felt comfortable including the bed. The location is in the heart of this pretty little town, and is easy to park close to the property (if not out the front)
Enjoyed a very relaxing stay @ Bank House. Great location, in the centre of village. Room was bright, quiet. Very welcoming and accommodating host. Lots of interesting walks on the doorstep. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
