The house was spacious, clean and beautifuly decorated, the keepers were very helpful with a couple of issues and we had everything we needed on site. Groceries shop was a short walk away and really lovely local pub nearby. They also were able to accommodate a slightly earlier checking which was helpful after a very early flight! It was lovely to stay in such a lovely location with friends and I look forward to coming back and would recommend the place for any group looking to stay in the area

Great location, lovely quiet setting whilst being close to everything we needed. Our two kids loved having their own rooms and plenty of space to play both inside and outside. Everything was perfect during our stay. Our apartment was super clean! The bed was very comfortable and they even supplied us with tea coffee and all the essentials. Beautiful location nestled in the cute village of Tullyallen, which was very peaceful. All attractions were close by and easy to find via Google maps. There are lots of things to do and see. Would definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alma’s retreat. The owner was super friendly and welcoming! The kitchen had fresh milk, breakfast options and a lot of kitchen utensils. The bedrooms and showers were amazing and everything was really clean. We highly recommend you stay here and the next time we are able to come here we will definitely try to stay for a longer period.
We had such a fabulous night at Alma's retreat. My husband, myself and our 2 children stayed. Toni arrived to meet us, with 2 Easter eggs for the children. She also took us to meet her beautiful horses. And the kids played fetch with Davey the dog. The apartment was spotlessly clean. And so spacious. My children couldn't believe they had their own bathroom. We all loved our stay from start to finish. And will most definitely be going back. Thanks for everything Toni. Breakfast was a real highlight, all the cereals, lovely fresh fruit and luxury yogurts. The full Irish was one of the best I've ever had. Our hosts, Peter and Mary were very attentive and gracious.
Boyne Valley Hotel has beautiful grounds.
My room was large and luxurious with a very modern bathroom.
