Really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the rural village location, yet less than a15 minute drive to Ballina
The no frills bedroom and shower room were bright and spotlessly clean.
Plenty of choice for the continental breakfast provided. Delicious freshly baked homemade scones were a lovely addition.
Whilst the television in the common room is quite large I think it would be nice to have a TV in each room to allow guests watch what they like without having to come to a consensus with other viewers.
Just fabulous. Very pleasant and efficient staff . Large room with top quality linen,towels and toiletries. Beautiful public rooms and glorious grounds for walks around the lake and woodland. A comprehensive breakfast menu .
We were there for a music night in the luxurious tent which we enjoyed and the food was delicious and plentiful, wonderful service from all the staff.
Amazingly cozy cottage in a small seaside village. The host, Deborah, is extremely supportive and ready to help with any issues. Great place to immerse in a calm rural life and to explore beautiful attractions nearby.
Beautiful grounds and interiors, staff were helpful and friendly. It was a wonderful luxurious escape for the same price as a cramped hotel room in Dublin.
This hotel was the most luxurious and at the same time one of the cheapest accomodations we stayed at during our roadtrip in Ireland. We arrived at the Great Ballina near the end of our trip and it was great to finally rest at this hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were big and the beds were super comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful as well! I don‘t know if it was just our room, but we were really happy about the bathroom that was equipped for the elderly/people with a disability.
The room was nice and spacious, Bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had heated flooring. Plenty of storage space. The view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking. There is a nice artistic vibe to the hotel. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was very attentive. beautiful areas nearby to explore. It was definitely a nice retreat. The spa was amazing the service was impeccable. we will definitely be back
