1) The food: we had 2 superb lunches. 2) The staff: went out of their way to take care of us. Carless, we were attending a wedding at another property seven miles away on what (unknown to us) was the busiest weekend of the summer--taxis were not available. Joanna Fennel arranged for a staff member to shuttle us to the wedding events. 3) the ambiance of the working farm and the garden-to-table ethos; and 4) the bed was really comfortable.

Annette was an excellent host; she was very friendly and gave us spectacular recommendations for places to visit. She made our stay wonderful! The breakfast items were fresh and delicious, the house was cozy, and the bed was comfortable. We went to the places Annette recommended and were blown away by their beauty.

One of the most breathtaking properties I have stayed at. The history, gardens and the villa itself is a very special experience. Stylish, comfortable, generous in its amenities. Wonderful restaurant on the grounds too. Truly magical.
The bed was very comfortable and the shower was strong and hot. Very quiet location. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Clean.
Took us 20mins to drive to Kildare Village the next day.
We didn't make use of the free swimming facility nearby.

we stayed in the retreat suite and it was amazing. stunning viewing window and little balcony. very modern with huge bath and shower. very comfortable bed and nice seating area with fire place.
