The Sidemen Villas is a boutique resort in an amazing setting with gorgeous jungle views and a fantastic outdoor patio and a private full size infinity pool! The Sidemen area is absolutely stunning, unspoiled and uncrowded - the way Ubud was 20 years ago.
We stayed in the beautiful two bedroom/two bath villa with a full kitchen. The kitchen was a real bonus but it could use a bit of updating and additional stocking (I.e. more glasses, dishes, utensils etc).
There are also several one bedroom Villas with private pool at the resort that are newer and absolutely gorgeous.
There is also an on-site restaurant, which was unfortunately under renovation during our stay. I believe it’s open now. The location is a bit remote, but Grabs and taxis are readily available. There are also many great restaurants just a 10 minutes ride away.
The staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. They always made sure we were comfortable. They were always happy to help with any arrangements. A special thanks to Maha Diwya and the entire staff for making our stay so special!

This is the Most Fabulous place i have ever been in Bali everything is perfect quiet clean in the middle of ricefields gede is so kind the food was actually delicious the breakfast too, i can't say something bad honestly it was just an amazing experience and the sunrise is just fantastic ! Will come back definitely with my girlfriend.

I didn't know what to expect upon arrival. The staff was waiting for me at the entrance, and escorted me to my private house. The garden was beautiful. My environment was so serene. I loved every minute. I bought excursions early, but there was no need. The resort has a driver who took me out on a motorbike, and I had a great time.
The house was super cleand, and the bed was comfortable. The resort location is perfect. Away from crowds and very relaxing. The sounds of nature in the evening, was superb! The food was also delicious. Authentic!

There is really only one good reason to stay here and that is the view across the valley to Mt Agung. Astoundingly, the owners appear to have planted a tree, smack in the middle of their lawn. It appears destined to block this view for at least one of the villas within the next few years. The owner and staff were pleasant enough and kindly carried our luggage up and down the stairs for us
Griya Valud is such a magical place. Very exclusive (4 private villas) in Sidemen Valley, the hosts are amazing. Great food is cooked there. The villas are perfect, with a great bathroom, and an infinity pool perfect to relax after a day exploring what Sidemen has to offer. Highly recommended!
Fantastic Villa just in front of the rice fields facing the views of the volcano. The villas have 2 levels with a magnificient bedroom uptairs and semiexterior bathroom + kitchen downstairs, all very clean and with a very charming atmosphere in wood construction. Breakfasts are served in the veranda and you finish by feeling at home….and this, of course, thanks to the staff, always very friendly and helpful. All great!

I've had a nice, quiet relaxing time thanks to its private villa. The contrast of Mt. Agung and the garden that you can see from the kitchen were astonishing. The beds and bathroom were also hygienic and clean. There were also a place you can buy daily necessities near by. The internet connection were solid it helped with
my work. And addition to that there was a washing machine as well. I would like for another long stay.
Absolutely beautiful luxury villas in a nature filled, peaceful paradise. The owner and staff were amazing and went out of their way to meet our every need. Our villa was beautiful and the view from the front porch was breathtaking. I loved every massage that I received while in Bali (6 in total) but none was as good as the one I had at Surya Shanti Villa. A 2 night stay and only 1 massage was just not enough! Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay - I definitely hope to return!
We splurged and booked one of the villas with a private pool - best decision ever! The villa's floor to ceiling windows looked out over our pool onto paddy fields that were tended by local farmers each day. The staff were friendly and helpful as we planned our stay. Sideman is still a quaint quiet pocket of Bali but there are still fabulous restaurants and spas to help you feel pampered and relaxed.

Amazing location, super helpful staff, nice private villas in a quiet and beautiful setting. The pool is also wonderful. The room is spacious and very clean. Breakfast is very good! We would definitely recommend staying here as it is great value for money and staff are always ready to help.
