Guesthouse on the edge of Cemoro lawang village, along the road leading to the sunrise viewpoints (1h30 walk). Restaurants could be reached by walking a few minutes.
My father and I rented a twin bed bedroom. It was clean and better than what we had expected. The beds were comfy with thick and warm bedcovers. There was a sink in the room. Towels were provided but no soap. Western toilets and hot shower (but you need to let the water run for a long time before it gets warm).
Perfect location for tours of Mount Bromo (especially DIY tours).
The staff is helpful in case you need to book pick up service, transport, tours, also on short notice.
Room is aligned to expectation, with a big size, comfortable double bed, and bathroom with warm water (it's a simple guesthouse in a base camp village of a volcano, do not expect a fancy Bali resort).
We enjoy the location near Bromo with a lovely village to walk through. The family are attentive and friendly always responding quickly to request.
The room is spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast was nice with omelette and toast.
The Bromo trip was excellent.
I always love a local villa in the middle of a village with a modern and cozy touch. Plus points compared to other offerings around Bromo:
- Hot shower
- 3 room villa. Most villas around were single room villa
- Fireplace at hall area
- Away from jeep noises around 1-3am
