This is an incredible property! We felt like we had stepped into the pages of “Architectural Digest Magazine”. Absolutely one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen is well equipped … the en-suite bedrooms super comfortable…the outdoor dining absolute paradise…and the pool is breathtakingly beautiful. This property is a gem of gems. Truly 10 stars! Communication with the owner was incredibly easy. Marina replied promptly and had some great recommendations about local places to visit and restaurants to try.

The location was amazing. We were looking for a stay at the island Hvar and this popped up for a reasonable price. We did some groceries before heading to the island, and then rode to the Rooms Stjepan. It was a great surprise: very small village, beautiful view, private bay for the village. Only a pizzeria & a cafe and a Jeu de Boule lane 👌🏼

Amazing villa right by the sea! The terrase is incredible and the villa is cozy and clean. Lily was a great host and privided us with water during the stay. We spend the day by bathing 3 m from the villa where you can bring down the sunbeds and jump in to the cristal clear water. I would defenetly reccomend!

Everything - Villa Mendes is exceptional and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The family's determination to resurrect their 300 year old estate into a beautiful, boutique villa is inspirational, but the warmth of their welcome was even more remarkable. If you get the chance, you must add this very special destination to your visit to Croatia, you won't regret it!
