Beautifully decorated, has all the basic necessities,, sweet & responsive host. The garden is lush and the gazebo is a great bonus. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the view. The location is great, within 10 minutes drive from Rastoke and Plitvice National Park. Close to supermarkets and restaurants. We love the fast food BBQ on the main street, 15 minutes walks from the house.

Where do I even begin? This is Plitvice’s best kept secret!
Vanja and husband are 5 star hosts and live in a property next door. They are very responsive and super helpful.
The home (it is a home and not just some accomodation) is sparkling clean and cosy.
Well equiped with under floor heating and pristine white towels and sheets. There are two rooms on the top level with one large bathroom and another large bedroom downstairs with the other large bathroom.
The kitchen thou small packs a big punch and has a microwave, dishwasher, oven, stove and coffee machine.
Everything is generously provided for from the washing detergent and paper towels.
There was even some welcome treats waiting for us and Vanja is a fantastic baker too! Breakfast is super yummy and personally made by Vanja. She cares about hosting and it shows.
The gardens and surrounding areas must be lovely in summer with many fruit trees that Vanja makes good jam with. Not to mention the infrared sauna and hot tub!
As we are visiting in January the snow just makes everything extra special and our young children just loved playing outside.
We enjoyed our stay here so much we regret that we didn’t stay longer.
When there is such good hospitality at one’s doorstep - take it. It honestly feels like coming home to family!

Nice apartment, location in a village. Nice and quite close to Pmitvickie Lakes which we have visited next day in the morning. Also close to Karana where you can have a very refreshing and relaxing swim in the river.
Everything. The room is clean and cosy. The beds are comfortable and the hosts are nice.
Unfortunately, we arrived at the Villa late in the evening and didn't have the chance to use the pool. We wanted to stay one more night, but the property was sold out. The host offered us the possibility to use the pool the next day if we were to find another room in the village. It is a very nice location to stay and it's quite near the Plitvice Jezera that you can reach by car in 20 minutes.
Very friendly Alexandra, helped in accommodation and any questions. Clean apartment in very quiet and peaceful village. There is almost nothing to do around, so this apartment shall suffice to couple/ family searching to stay in quite place near the Plitvice Lakes.
Enjoyed our one-night stay! The host, Petra, responded quickly to messages and met us on arrival. Very clean, modern room and bathroom. The bed was super comfortable. We were on the ground floor and looked out to the pool area. The pool was well-maintained with tables, loungers, and umbrellas. We enjoyed relaxing there for a few hours in the afternoon. Village is within walking distance with a few eating places - we recommend Fast Food BBQ, great food, and fantastic ambience.
We were looking for accommodation that was close to Plitvice National Park and where we could take our dog. Detached house in a quiet village with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, comfortable living room. The kitchen is well equipped. Air conditioning is only in the living room, but it cooled the bedrooms relatively well with the door open. There is a nice garden in front of the house, but it is not fenced, parking is right next to the house. The Plitvice National Park is about 16 km, 16 minutes by car.
Villa Ruhige Lage is a quiet and clean we stayed in two renovated rooms. The rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a small fridge stocked with a few items.
