Villas in Metković

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Musulin. We had so much to do here that we didn’t want to leave for the beach. We even changed our original plans and extended the stay here for 2 extra nights. Villa offers all kind of activities: fireplace for cooking, pool, ping pong table just a few to name. The entire property was spotless clean and convenient. And the hosts are the best! Easy, clear and quick communication, very friendly and sincere family. They make their own olive oil, grow figs, make wine and they shared it all with us. Will certainly recommend it to others, and next time we visit Croatia will come back again. Thank you Musulin family for hosting us. Best of luck with future guests! :-)

Villa Tina is a beautiful house with a swimming pool, where my family enjoyed long walks in clean, untouched nature, in a large terrace with a wonderful view of the mountains, in an extremely clean pool that has a particularly beautiful rocky environment ideally combined with nature. My son was delighted by the garden with swings as well as the pool and water toys. We had complete privacy, which means a lot to my family, security and peace because the villa is completely surrounded by a high stone fence, which was ideal for my son's games and our relaxation away from the city noise and crowds. Excellent internet with 2000 channels. The villa is large, spacious, completely new and beautifully comfortably furnished, which can be seen in every detail of the house. The entire villa is air-conditioned and we had our own parking. Everything is so very comfortable and extra clean, and for me and my husband a particularly romantic villa. The hostess delighted us with her hospitality. She told us about the beautiful sandy beaches known for kite surfing at the mouth of the Neretva, the golden Baćin Lakes, boat rides, the beaches of the Makarska Riviera, the proximity of the city of Dubrovnik, which is a 50-minute drive away, long bicycle paths, and yes, in Villa Tina we can rent bicycles. I am happy to have found this wonderful house for my family's vacation. Definitely, I will come there again next summer. Thanks Tina, see you again!

Loved the presentation of the house, with the table & chairs out front to the court yard out the back. The location was great for restaurants & walking..

Everything was so beautifull... The place was beautifull, peacefull, and far from any city rush. The house and the facilities were new. The pool was great! Everything was clean. All in all, great place to stay.

Vedran and Tatiania were fantastic hosts alongside their son Luca. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Vedran even met us on route to show us the best route to the house and then showed us a short cut the supermarket. The house itself is stunning. The pictures dont do it justice and we couldnt have asked for more. Vedran kept us in touch throughout our stay and even invited us to dinner and made us amazing wood fired pizzas. The house is located in a quite village with a small shop 5 min walk away selling fresh bread and all essentials you need. Vedran allowed us use of his kayaks and paddleboard on the stunning Bacina lakes, which are 100 metres from the house. There are 2 cafes on the lake which are easy to kayak to or use the 4 mountain bikes and cycle the lakes path to get there. There is a swimming pontoon close by and the lakes are lovely to swim or dive in. All the amenities in the house are well serviced by Vedran and the pool is stunning. There are a choice of places to eat around the house dependent on which amazing view you want to look at. The pool house has an amazing traditional croatian wood fired oven which Vedran was happy to supply us wood for. (There is also a gas bbq should you prefer) A car is needed if you wish to visit the numerous Dalmatian beaches which range from 20 to 30mins away. To top off our amazing stay, Vedran and Tatiania provided us with numerous gifts for our return journey such as home made olive oil and beautiful lavender bags which was extremely unexpected and most generous of them.

This is one of the best places we have stayed. We are Croatian but have lived abroad most of our lives and travelled all over so we know Croatia well but can also compare to other places. This is a unique place. There are still elements of the way Croatia used to be but also with modern touches. The house is modern and well stocked (it is the best stocked kitchen we have seen so far). The host Danira is exceptional. She had a great career in tourism and has applied what she learnt along with good traditional hospitality to make sure our experience was the best possible. It is also great for small children. There is a fenced in backyard, all in the shade of grape vines. In the afternoons there was a cool breeze and despite hot temperatures it was always very comfortable. The highlight of our trip was the Maraton Ladja. We will try to support the local Komin club in the future since this is just one of the coolest events we have been to: https://www.facebook.com/GusariKomin Our favorite two sand beaches were close (15-20 minute walk or a few minutes by car). Google Kiteboarding Komin Center - Neretva and go to the last bar. It's like a Croatian / Caribbean place on the water. Also Neretva Kiteboarding has a bar in the sand and small children's playground. Due to the winds and shallow water, this is the best kiteboarding place in Croatia and much wider. So there's also a surfing sub-culture. See also Zen OpuZen which we like. The local fruit and vegetables is fresh and flavorful due to the lush land in the river Neretva basin. There are nice day trips like a foto safari tour on the river Neretva and places to try local specialities (some places you reach by boat). You can also go to Peljesac for some of the best oyster and mussels in Europe (Drace is a half hour, Mali Ston a bit further). There is just too much to list. Or you can just chill at the house and grill fish like we did on some days.
