The loved staying in a traditional Greek home that full of art to enjoy. The views from the many terraces were beautiful. The property owner went out of her way to assist us with arranging transportation from the Athens airport to the Rallou House. Sophia meet us at the harbor and assisted us with grocery shopping on the way to the house.

The entire study was a dream! The host is amazing and meet us at the water to walk us to his property. He kindly showed us everything in the home. The patio upstairs is incredible. There were very small touches such as fresh cut flowers and a special breakfast treat. It is so quiet and quaint. If we make it back to Hydra, we will definitely stay here again.

It felt like a traditional Greek Grandmother’s home, especially the welcome basket of homemade sweets, bread, butter, jam, fruit, milk, water and every kind of coffee but with strong Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs throughout and air-conditioning(which we did not need). No need to bring shampoo, body wash, lotion or beach towels nor many clothes as there is a washing machine, dryer rack and iron! Most importantly, the lovely owner, Vassos, provided booklets about the island and gave us the names of the best restaurants, beaches, hiking and sightseeing! She helped carry our bags or you can request a donkey. There is a long uphill walk so no need for a gym. Wear only sneakers and take beach shoes for the rocks.

Large apartment close very close to the center. Great value for the money. the porch is nice to hang out on and the yard bellow is nice. loved exploring the island from here. owner was friendly and helpful.
