We booked this property for a month-long stay but ended up leaving halfway through due to multiple issues, without any refund...
To start, this was a newer host, and we were her first summertime guests. I rented this home for my family, but I arrived a week after my parents and niece. By the time I got there, they were already uncomfortable due to the communication, and overall situation. My niece, initially the third person, ended up staying with us as the fourth, for which we paid an additional amount for the entire month.
Pros:
-The house is stone-built, so there were no concerns about mold or EMFs.
-The patio is beautiful to sit on, as is the semi-outdoor dining table. However, there isn't a working umbrella, and the heat is unbearable with the smoldering sun.
-The town is charming. We loved the nearby café, restaurant, and tourism office. It’s walkable, fun to explore, and everyone is so kind.
-The neighborhood is considered safe. People leave their phones and wallets on tables inside and outside at restaurants.
Cons:
-We were only given one key, and it was difficult to get a second. The first key is needed for electricity/ AC to operate in the home, which made locking the doors tricky if someone was out. The host accused us of leaving doors unlocked when, in fact, we had to keep them unlocked, to maintain AC while someone was out (in the extreme heat).
-No extra sheets were provided, even after multiple requests. This forced us to wash and air-dry sheets - A process that took all day unless we paid for cleaners, which was not included in the cost.
-We weren’t given extra toilet paper, or cleaning supplies for a month-long stay. The host’s helper, Christos, confirmed these wouldn’t be provided. Christos also mentioned that Marianthi is very nervous about renting her property, and it was reflected in how poorly she treated us during our stay.

We loved everything about these villas. We rented the two one bedroom villas with the shared pool. The units were super clean and modern. The pool and loungers were exceptional! The sunset was incredible! Had a great time.

We had the most incredible experience during our Crete vacation at Nick's house! The host, Nick, was absolutely amazing and made us feel right at home. The house itself was perfect for our family, especially with kids. The big yard with a breathtaking view of the mountains and a grill for BBQs added to the charm.
The location was ideal as it was very close to the stunning beach and numerous restaurants. Our stay was truly unforgettable, and we were genuinely sad to leave. We can't wait to return! Nick's warm welcome and attentiveness made all the difference. He was always responsive to our questions and even helped us with a car rental recommendation.

It is a magical place in the beautiful village!!!! Nikos and Lola are wonderful hosts. They also brought us fresh Olive Oil and fresh eggs from their Farm. I loved the house and we really want to come back soon!!!
Small complex with only 4 villas, so practically always private ise of the pool. Vamos is on walking distance and is a nice small village with some shops, a bakery and around 10 restaurants.
A perfectly peaceful holiday spent in the lovingly restored and cared for home of Kostas and family We arrived to Dakos and Raki, fruit and olive oil with sweet treats in the middle of our stay. Nestled in the countryside yet accessible to the village and beach by car with amazing views across the village to the hills and sea beyond. All amenities for a country retreat in a tranquil setting.
We have stayed at these beautiful villas before so knew what to expect. They are a little slice of heaven and you feel so relaxed when staying here. Absolutely top quality finish and excellent position within Vamos. Very easy communication with the owners who made you feel right at home. We will most definitely return when back in the area. Beautiful villas in a beautiful part of Crete. The villas are decorated to the highest standard with lots of little features that gave them a homely feel. 3 proper bedrooms with comfortable beds. The pool and BBQ area is stunning with more than enough sun beds and umbrellas. The gardens are well tended and so pretty.
The house has a very nice architecture and a lot of areas to sit around the house. The pool is small, but was totally enough for a short refreshment. Vamos is a small and cute village and in the mini markets you can get the essential things. Also what's really cool is the mobile fruit car, which drives around every morning and stops in front of the house.
We really enjoyed our stay in the house and everything was so uncomplicated and friendly. Even the cleaning after a few days was great luxury for us. Thanks a lot for everything!
The Facility of Terra Vamos Villa is great . location is nice, isolated in the mountains and pretty close to Chania. The villas are very nice and great pools.
