Plaka House is worth recommending for many reasons. The host is very friendly and responsive, we did not have any communication problems throughout our stay, and he did his best to make us feel comfortable. The property is very clean, including the kitchen, the toilet and the shower (I am a very sensitive person in relation to hygene, and these are the things I always check first when I enter a new property - absolutely no issues here). We also appreciated the fresh white towels and bed linen changed during our stay, the fresh fruit and the wine. The view on the bay is amazing! It is also important that you have enough privacy, unlike in an apartment. The location was easy to find, as the host provided us with exact location details. The bed might be a little narrow for two persons (if both are XL size), but this was already mentioned in reviews by other guests and was not an issue for us personally, we had enough space for both of us. The house is also very close to a nice restaurant and a mini market, about 5-7 minutes on foot. Our return flight was late in the evening, but the host allowed us to stay after the check-out time without any extra charge. Thank you, Panagiotis, we will definitely return!

Very good location, the apartment was very clean and decorated with the traditional way but with modern materials. Happy environment, nice architecture. The tree outside the window was protecting the room from the sun, giving an impression of forestry surroundings.

It's a very nice and comfortable villa in a quiet place. Seven minutes walk to the sea. There are shops, restaurants and cafe with ice cream near villa. Nick is a friendly host. We will be happy to come back here again.

Everything was perfect. The villa is extremely well equipped, and the setting is beautiful. We travelled with our 1.5 year old and the owner kindly left us a baby gate and inflatables for the pool. There are also games etc. Highly recommend this place if you have children. There are two great restaurants just a few min walk away. There isn't much else around, so best to stay here if you'll have a car.

A beautiful apartment with an amazing view. The large terrace with the private pool was simply wonderful. The host and the staff were very kind and generous. We found all the necessary supplies in the fridge - bread, butter, milk, water, eggs, ham, cheese - and they also offered us delicious pastries and fresh fruits.
Well placed, close to village centre with excellent tavernas and shop. A short (15min), downhill walk to Almyrida, with lovely beach and bus route to Chania (3Euro 20, every couple of hours). Cool, clean with all the facilities you need. Highly recommended.
The villa is exceptional. In 25 years of holidaying in Crete, it is one of the best properties we’ve stayed in. The views from the property are beautiful and the accommodation is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Communication with the owner was excellent, with prompt responses to any queries.

Near super-markets and a couple of tavernas (5 min. walk). Short walk (15-20 min.) down to Almyrida with a great beach and many nice restaurants. Super happy with our stay. Would definitely come back.
Can’t rave enough about these villas. Absolutely beautiful with the best host ever. This place is spotlessly clean and has everything you need including a pool. The location is great with amazing views. You can walk to shops and restaurants. Would say hire a car for further trips and explore this beautiful place. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. We had regular treats of melon and warm dishes, advice on car hire and where to visit, they were fantastic!
A breathtaking location and view, the villa is amazing with all the necessary amenities and a very good size pool. Located on top of a hill in the middle of luxurious vegetation, it provides relaxation and fun for the familly. Highly recommanded.
