What a Fantastic traditional mansion so very well preserved over time. Located at the top of Makrinitsa village we had stunning views while spending time & having our breakfast on the great open porch was a great start of our daily excursions around Pelion.
Mr. George was a great host very friendly and eager to give advise on places to see and things to do around the area. we will definitely go back and probably even during summer.
A lovely archontiko (mansion) recently opened by a young couple. They helpfully sent me the exact Google co-ordinates for finding it. There is parking which is great as parking can be tricky in the village. It's a beautiful village and Cardamo Restaurant by the main square served such tasty food.
Breakfast is eaten on the terrace with magnificent view over Volos; fresh fruit would be nice.
it was very traditional accommodation. sort of a bit old fashioned but in a good way and we liked the fact that it was an old mansion. very near to the village. coffee was great
The location of these villas is magnificent, 10 minutes walk down to the village. Great view towards Volos & the sea! We were a family group of 13 including 5 children and the accommodation was fantastic for us in 4 different villas.
We received great help from Vassillis, the manager & from Costas, the owner of the site. These two kind men helped a lot to make our stay as perfect as it could be.
Everything was clean and cozy. The location is excellent in the heart of the village. The mansion is renovated but keeping the traditional atmosphere. The stuff is very polite and helpful.
Makrinitsa is a village with a wonderful atmosphere and Traditional Mansion Evilion has everything you expect in such a unique place - authentic house with beautifully restored rooms with impressive antique furniture and ornaments, a view of Volos from which you can not take your eyes off. A great hotel that we would gladly visit again.
