We stayed at Lighthouse Villas 2 for a week, our host met us on arrival, was always available if we needed anything, gave us some lovely recommendations for places to visit, places to eat, including their wonderful family restaurant in Argistoli. The villa was really easy to find, we hired a car from the airport and it took 15/20mins to get to the villa, very easy driving. The villa has everything you need for a holiday, towels were provided and beach/pool towels. There was a washing machine and everything dried in minutes outside in the sunshine! The view from the villa was amazing, the waterfront is a stone's throw from the bottom of the garden, there is a bench by the water and even from the garden you can watch all the boats, kite-surfers, birds on the water. It did get windy, especially in the evenings, so we had some interesting card games when we were chasing flying cards around the garden, but nothing to hinder our enjoyment! The cleaner came twice a week, the place is spotless, but do take care on wet floors as they can be a bit slippy, but there are mats in the bathroom to keep you safe. We had a perfect holiday and cannot thank Vaggelis and his family enough for looking after us so well, thank you!

Our stay at Crystal Villas in Lixouri, Cephalonia, Greece, was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning seaview that greeted us. The villa's pool was a highlight, offering complete privacy and a serene spot to relax and unwind.
The wrap-around porch provided the perfect setting for morning coffees and evening sunsets, enhancing the villa's charm. We felt incredibly safe throughout our stay, thanks to the peaceful and quiet surroundings. The area is tranquil, making it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The villa was equipped with air conditioning throughout, ensuring a comfortable stay even during the warmest days. The shutters were perfect for keeping out the bright Greek sunlight when needed, adding to the villa's cozy atmosphere. Additionally, the cleanliness of the villa was impeccable, making us feel right at home.
One of the thoughtful touches we particularly appreciated was the hot and cold outdoor shower, which was perfect for rinsing off after a swim.
Our host was exceptionally attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The villa came fully equipped with all the essentials, making it truly a home away from home.
Another highlight was the villa's location, just a short drive from the Lixouri ferry terminal. The ferry journey itself was enjoyable and a great way to unwind after a long flight.
Having traveled extensively, we can confidently say that Crystal Villas is quite simply the best villa our family has stayed in around the world. We can't wait to return!

This was absolute paradise for us : We are a family of 5 who wanted a quiet place to stay where we could relax - somewhere a little away from the town.
It was absolutely everything we needed for our holiday 💜
The location was ideal, the villa was spotless and the hosts were so kind; Along with bottled water and orange juice, Nancy left us her home-made moussaka in the fridge along with a generous helping of a delicious Greek custard dessert!
The hosts provide towels for showering, for the beach and for the pool - excellent service; so well organised.
Spyros was very helpful and gave us some really good advice about the best places to eat out and the best beaches to visit.
We hired a car for the whole week and managed to visit many places. However, for all of us, we enjoyed our time on the Paliki peninsula the most. It’s quieter and more laid back. We met and made friends with some of the locals, sampled the Greek cuisine daily and we are now saving up to return as soon as we can!
We would recommend Villa Ostria wholeheartedly - so close to its own beach, access to the sea through the olive grove…. Absolutely perfect for our needs!
Ps Our flight to Manchester was among those cancelled on Sunday 23rd June…. After a stressful time rearranging with the airline to leave on the 25th, I rang Spyros from the airport and we were able to return to the villa for an extra 2 nights! Can’t believe how blessed we have been to find this place and the people who own it!

Fabulous view, the friendliest and most knowledgeable host (Daniel) and a large and comfortable, very well equipped house. This is a house, not an apartment. It has a beautiful large terrace, large living room and kitchen, two bedrooms and a huge yard. The place is quiet and very private, but it is only 12 minutes drive to Argostoli, the capital and one of the highlights of the island (great restaurants, bars and pedestrian area).We’ve been many times in Greece, but this was by far the best property we ever rented. Highly recommend it!
