Villa Aura was absolutely wonderful! When we arrived to the villa we were warmly greeted by Marco who is the host for this villa. He showed us around the entire property and gave a rundown of where everything was located inside and outside the house. He left us with a bottle of wine and local olive oil as well as fruits to start our vacation which was very thoughtful! Marco gave us pointers on the best areas to visit throughout the island of naxos with restaurants and excursions! The hosts Marco and Sarah were very responsive to our needs. The villa itself had everything we needed! It has a gorgeous pool where we spent most of our days looking out into the sea! It has 2 balconies and a garden! the proximity of the house to the sea was a short 2 minute walk from the villa and was absolutely beautiful, it almost felt like it was right in our backyard! The outdoor shower was nice when we came back from the beach to rinse ourselves off! The beds were very comfortable! The master bedroom upstairs was very spacious with lots of closet space and had a window overlooking the sea. Downstair’s bedrooms were on the smaller side but had enough space for two teenagers. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at villa Aura and would absolutely love to come back one day to stay again!

Despite the fact that it was not available for all days that I would stay in the island and despite the fact that it was a bit pricey for me, the photo's looked really nice and I said what the heck, lets allow for myself and family to indulge ourselves for few days in something that looks very nice. When we arrived, to reach it we had to cross a dust road for a km and I was a bit worried in case it did not meet our expectations. Well, the host waited for us, opened the door, and my goodness! It was better than the photos, both inside (good size bedrooms, large living rooms, three toilets, very comfortably but also fashionably decorated in the inside. Outside is the private pool ((lighted during the night, nice sofas, tables, puffs and everything outside (and again catchy and fashionable design) and a large garden type area only for you. And a good, electric barbeque outside (a good one). The problem is that everyone liked it so much that nobody wanted to leave from there to go to the beach and rather stay there chilling out. This was so much contrast with our next days of stay in another villa (half price), which despite being also beautifully designed, it did not have living room and the same outside, so in the last days we were almost continuously out. It is 2023, we were from the first visitors of this that was new, I hope it remains that good in next years.
Close to it are two relatively good beaches (Kastraki, one of the clearest waters in the island but a bit dull and Mikri Vigla, decent/good, organised with sunbeds and beach bars). It is about 25' drive time from Naxos city and/or the best (to me) beach of Naxos, Agios Prokopios (especially the non-organised part)
Generally, if one told me where would you like to stay if you were locked in that place and cocoon for a number of days, with friends or family it would be a serious candidate choice for me (of course depends on the price also). Hosts were very fine and kind.

Excellent property- super facilities and fabulous views. Have been holidaying in Naxos every year for the past 18 years and this was the best villa yet! Fabulous outdoor area with a lovely pool. You need a car, but great beaches nearby and a super bakery is a short walk away. Highly recommend.

The Hosts supplied us with information on travelling to the villa and the local markets which was helpful as it was Easter weekend and not many places open.
Don’t look anywhere else, this is the place to be in Naxos. Ideally located in a very quiet location, though close enough to many good restaurants, pristine beaches and both the main town of Chora and the villages in the mountains. Stunning view from the terrace where you can watch the sun set from your own private swimming pool. The owners were absolutely nice and provided us with very good recommendations.
Stelios is an incredibly nice and friendly host. He and his family cared for us perfectly. The apartment is very close to beaches, a small supermarket, restaurants and a bus station. But the area is not as busy and overcrowded as the beaches and villages north of Kastraki. Perfect for us!
Very nice villa with all necessary equipment for the kitchen and bathrooms. Super calm area ideal for relaxing and walking distance to amazing beaches in Kastraki. Restaurants and supermarkets also close by. Parking available and very comfortable place. The host is available and it was very easy to check in and out. Changing and cleaning during the stay was a nice unexpected surprise!
I cannot recommend Akti Kastraki enough. A true home away from home, the whole complex offers a very special experience. The rooms are brand new, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The beachfront is very pretty, and not crowded at all, even in August. You also get to catch beautiful sunsets over the island of Paros. Akti’s entire team is extremely friendly, attentive, efficient, and family-like, making the whole vacation a true pleasure. I came back recharged. Thank you Akti!
