The location of Canaves Elefas is awesome with great views of the caldera, sunsets. It is very private, it has a plunge pool from where you can enjoy the awesome views. The space was big, rooms separated from a living room. The booking process was great, they helped us with our luggage down. We had breakfast that they prepared and set up in a table outside with great views of the caldera. Antonis was awesome. The staff cleaned the villa daily, fixed beds and baths. We had a great time.

The location was excellent! If you are hesitating between this villa and any other villa on the island, CHOOSE OLIA VILLA! As a luxury villa owner myself, I notice the small things. So when Ion greeted our large group (3 adults, 3 children + infant), I was pleasantly surprised to receive a welcome tour of the villa, along with personal tips on where to go (and where not to bother going).
Our housekeeper was lovely (and patient) and came daily, which is needed with so many kids. She always had a smile.
The views were spectacular. We were fortunate to not have any neighbors because, as in most Villas on the Caldera, you are close to your neighbors’ outdoor space.  in this case, the outdoor area with the pool and the amazing views, abuts neighboring property (like every other residence in the area). However, what makes this property stand out is the fact that it is one of the highest points on the caldera and there are two other spectacular places to relax outdoors. The entrance boasts a gorgeous terrace with ample seating. Better than that is the rooftop with multiple loungers and a sofa and table, all perfect for catching sunrise and sunsets, WITHOUT seeing neighbors.
We stayed Oct 18-25, 2023, so it was the end of the season, but we still had excellent weather. The pool was heated… and actually warm.
Additionally, the location was spectacular because you could drive to the front door of the villa, which is important of staying with kids.
Finally, our host was always just a quick WhatsApp message away, with excellent recommendations for EVERYTHING!

The view... WOW! This place is an incredible, private villa with it's own private pool which was nice and cool, perfect for the temperature of the day (it is not heated and therefore may be cold for some people). The outdoor space is generous with plenty of sunlight. The kitchen was perfect for what we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. Hiring an ATV was very easy and the location is fairly in the middle of the island so therefore was easy to get around the whole island! Fira - a short drive over the hill, and Oia - 30min drive.
I recently stayed at Theano Cave Suites & Villas in Santorini and had an exceptional experience. The individual cave suites, each with a personal pool, were stunning and provided excellent amenities. The rooms were beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The location offers a lovely view of the east side of the island, ideal for relaxation. The host, Elizabeth, was incredibly knowledgeable about the island, offering great recommendations for take-away places, restaurants, and excursions.
Staying in this complex of villas was a dream come true. Unmatched elegant villa with an expansive terrace, outdoor jacuzzi, great dining room, sofa, tv, a/c and incredible views of the volcano. The interior design was sophisticated and elegant and the price? One and the best! This is the place to be for a luxurious Santorini experience.

Our villa was equipped with the MOST MODERN features and fixtures with luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms on TWO LEVELS!!! We were welcomed by Artemis and Angela with the warmest smiles and cool welcome drinks.
Our personalized breakfasts were to die for with homemade marmalade, freshly made muffins, and 🍫 n 🍊 cake. Our private pool was used throughout our stay while we enjoyed our drinks watching the full moon in full swing.

This property is totally unique, unlike any other luxury hotel we have stayed. It’s small and intimate therefore your get true excellent service. The staff are super helpful and are very accommodating for all requests. The villas with pools are stunning , you can relax there or buy the pool which is usually quiet.
One incredible feature is the view of the caldera. Probably one of the best line the island.
