Although it is 7 km from the beach it is a superb location with beautiful sea views, large clean pool. We had impeccable support from the lady. Villa is equipped with everything needed for a family. Outside by the pool there is a terrace with table and barbecue where you can spend the afternoon in peace. Worth the 10+ and we will be back with great pleasure.

A lovely 11 days stay in a spacious villa with plenty of facilities and very clean. Michalis is a fabulous host, visiting every day to empty bins, clean the pool and answer any questions (and equally happy to not visit if you don't need him). He's also always available on WhatsApp for any questions.
Finding homemade Pasticcio cooked and ready for us on arrival was very welcome after travelling. As was finding the fridge well stocked with essentials for our first day...so no rushing to the supermarket on arrival.
The villa is excellent...spacious, very clean, well supplied in all respects whether it is towels or sun loungers. The dishwasher and washing machine really helped.
The town is a short walk away (along or across a busy road) and take a torch in the evenings if you will walk home (Michalis kindly provides one). Or take a taxi for 5 or 6 €. All the taxi companies are good, and book your transfer from the airport direct with them as cheaper than airport taxi transfer.
If you hire a car, hire in the town after arrival, not from the airport....its MUCH cheaper.

The spacious outside area, swimming pool in good condition and very luxurious sun beds. Good facilities - table tennis table and pool table. Cleaned regularly throughout our 10 day stay and the hosts were incredibly accommodating.

I want to leave a review here, as we REALLY LIKED our vacation here. A family with three children rested for a week. The apartment is spacious, new, with two terraces and a swimming pool. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more: complimentary wine and water, snow-white bed sheets and towels, dishes, washing machine, dishwasher. Even such small things as salt, sugar, tablets for the washing machine and dishwasher, board games. Each room has air conditioning and a TV. A sandy beach and a freshwater lake are a five-minute drive away. The location is good if you have a car. A very pleasant host who helped in all matters. We were lucky to find this lovely place and recommend it. :)

The villa is beautiful, clean and very well maintained! it’s very comfortable and furnished fantastically for a stay. The pool is great and we enjoyed being out there for sunrise looking over the ocean . There is a lovely small town a few minutes walk away with restaurants, and small stores.

It was the most beautiful vacation I have ever been on. I've been to many places, but I've never met such an owner! The owner of the house was very nice, helpful and caring. I know Greeks are very nice people but the owner should get a medal for that! We had contact with the owner during the entire stay in Greece. Villa was beautiful, spacious and fully equipped- fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill! Swimming pool during the night was spectacular! Our group is 7 people - we felt in this house like in paradise. I will definitely come back to this place!

Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful and very well equipped, Episkopi is a small traditional village very close to the beach.We highly recommend it for a short or long term!
Lovely Modern villa with a 2 bedroom up and 2 bedroom down arrangement. The villa was perfect for our stay with 8 people we had plenty of room and had everything we needed. Nikos was a great host and made sure we were comfortable, he even arranged a boat trip for us which I highly recommend you ask him about doing. The location was great as well to see all the best bits that Crete has to offer.
The house is amazing! It has the owner's personal view in decoration together with traditional elements. The pool is not big but we enjoyed it a lot.
The kitchen is fully equipped (it even had air fryar in!)The village is beautiful, a big supermarket is 200 metres away and the beach 2 minutes drive.

Villa Vagelia is an excellent property for anyone, who plans to travel to Crete island. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable place. The host - Nikos is super helpful, he was always available when we needed something and gave us helpful tips and recommendations. He also helped us to rent a boat for very affordable price ! Episkopi is a beautiful village, with everything you need nearby. It’s in the middle of the island so you can get everywhere more easily by car. We would totally come back in Villa Vagelia!
Nikos was a amazing host, if we needed anything at the villa, we just needed to text him and he would come when he could, the villa was nice and big. If I had to go back to Crete, I would use the villa again.
Villa Vagelia is stylish and well equipped Villa, clean and comfortable. Nice place for relax and beautiful photos. And it’s important that they are really pet friendly.
Theodora was lovely and her husband was very helpful too, the villa is also stunning! Despite the few things in the negative list, the quality of the rest of the villa and the amazing friendliness from the host, definitely earn the rating given.
