The cottage was very cosy and the kitchen was well equipped. Nice bedrooms and a good bathroom. The keepers were very friendly and welcoming. There is a beautiful garden were you can stay. And in the morning the sun is welcoming you for breakfast outside.
You have direct access to public footpaths in the lovely countryside.
The house is nearby the Peak District and you are close to the famous Sculpture Park.

Spotlessly clean with comfy beds which had quality linen. Good communication from the host with easy parking and straight forward access. Although we didn't meet the host he left a welcoming letter letting us know he'd left us a couple of beers and soft drinks in the fridge along with the fresh milk which was a nice touch. The living area is quirky and very comfortable and made for a nice relaxing evening.

Lovely overnight stay, spotlessly clean and comfortable en-suite room and delicious breakfast with a range of choices. Located in beautiful surroundings and the lovely host Rowena was warm, friendly and helpful, also booking us a table for dinner at the local village pub. Good value for money and would definitely recommend. Rowena also suggested a good local circular walk which we did, with gorgeous scenic views.

Food excellent - especially the breakfast. The view and the general ambience of the place were terrific. Walks around the grounds and up to the village were a real pleasure.
The property was beautiful, it was clean, the beds were so comfy with a great shower, the garden was amazing with stunning views. easy access from the motorway, and a great price. Close to some nice villages, didn’t get any taxi but drove everywhere which was close to get to.
Breakfast choice was great, with cereals, fresh fruit and followed by a full English. Host Rowena was so lovely, and took time to always answer any questions. The couple was lovely and I would 100% recommend this place for anyone to stay.
