The cottage is in a lovely location. The cottage itself is perfect for a family of 4 for a trip away. The hosts were on hand for any information or help but you couldn't ask for any more information the host was excellent with advice of the local area and further. Super "dog friendly." unlike others places that say this. The Mansion really made our dog welcome. We never felt marginalised like other places. The breakfast, room and facilities were excellent, especially the swimming pool.
Really friendly owner, high quality luxury finish to the whole place. Comfy beds, a brilliant and generous breakfast with lovely coffee. Easily and secure bike storage as well. We would definitely return if in the area again. Great value for the price as well.
We stayed in Whitehaven to attend the Whitehaven Rugby league game so the Mansion was in a perfect position. |We also visited St Bees, Ravenglass and the Whitehaven harbourside so an excellent location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fact I was able to have a swim each day in the pool was an added bonus
I recently stayed at the Kings Arms Suite and was absolutely delighted with my experience. The room was incredibly cozy and immaculately clean, providing a comfortable retreat. The modern aesthetic was truly captivating, with lovely decor that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. All the amenities one could need were thoughtfully provided, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Kings Arms Suite for anyone seeking a stylish and comfortable getaway!

the bedroom was spacious and the beds were very comfortable, the staff were friendly and attentive. the breakfast was piping hot and served to my requirements , highly recommend a visit to The Mansion when visiting Whitehaven , i shall use again on future trips
