Hawthorn Cottage exceeded our expectations! It was spacious and immaculately clean with all the amenities we wanted, including washer, dryer, induction cooktop, WiFi, etc. The views through the two large bay windows (Uig Bay, Harbor and homes perched on the opposite hillside) were as pretty as a postcard, and changed with the bright sunshine, occasional mist and drizzle. The lush green of the gardens gave a quiet, secluded feel to the cottage. Our family of 4 spent 3 days in the cottage at the midpoint of a 2-week road trip through England and Scotland, and it was the perfect place to relax, wash our clothes and eat a few home-cooked meals. Hawthorn Cottage helped make Skye the highlight of our trip!

It’s a huge, new, MODERN home on big, private lot with loads of private parking.The house is on the water where you can watch the ferries come and go. The entrance is ADA accessible and it’s a single story with large en-suite bathrooms for each room and plenty of hot water. It has a washer and dryer, although the dryer was difficult to use.
It’s within easy walking distance of the ferry marina, with several places to eat nearby. There is a beautiful walking trail to a spectacular waterfall and swimming lagoon, as well the Fairy Glen trail a couple of miles up the road.
Buaile naan Carn is a self-cateringcottage set in Kilmuir, 18 mi from Portree. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave, as well as a kettle.

Location was absolutely what I had hoped for and as described. Property was as professionally cleaned!! (I wish I was that thorough). Just enough room for our group and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was gorgeous- inside & out. Highly recommend for family or multi-family. We had 2 kids, 3 adults and we left one room empty. I cannot recommend this magical house enough.

Absolutely perfect in every way - comfort, well appointed, superb pressure on shower, bed and pillows luxurious, kind, helpful and friendly hosts! Wish we had stayed a week.
Everything was pure luxury. The amount of food and drink in your room (replenished daily) is not something I've experienced before. The hot tub is awesome and the room is huge. The host also went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day went as planned and comped us a nice bottle of prosecco as a gift! Thanks again, we will be back.

Beautiful property in a stunning location, rooms were very luxurious and comfortable and the views were stunning! Vicki was a great host, and the breakfasts were incredible, just what we needed before a day of hiking. It was a lovely touch coming back in the afternoon to home-baked cakes. Would recommend this property to anyone coming to Skye.

Stones B&B is luxury in every sense of the word. Vicki is a fabulous host who has paid such close attention to detail in the rooms. We had everything we wanted in the rooms including robes, a fridge, wine glasses and even a home cooked daily treat. It’s a great place to set up on the beautiful Isle of Skye for the weekend. Breakfast was fantastic as are the views from the property! Worth every penny ☺️
There was literally nothing not to love about this property. The rooms are gorgeous with a fabulous view, so comfortable and tastefully decorated. We loved the novelty of being served breakfast in our private space. Great shower and amenities. Dreamy hot tub!! Vicki has done a fantastic job at executing the ‘luxury’ part of her B&B. She was warm, welcoming and informative. We loved our stay 10/10
The rooms are spacious with a bay view. The bed is large and very comfortable, the bathroom is modern and luxurious. Everything is clean and in great condition. Lots of amanities - tee, coffee, fruit juice, cereal & milk, cake, ... Vicky is a very warm and welcoming host. Breakfast is superb, try the vegetarian Haggis. There's a restaurant and a supermarket in walking distance (5-10 minutes). You can also walk to the Fairy Glen.
Luxury B&B. We felt very well taken care of. The host is delightful and accommodating. The view of Uig harbour is lovely. The bed is huge and comfortable. GREAT SHOWER. Extra touches like snacks and coffee machine take this place to the next level. There is a dining table for two, fridge and fluffy bath robes. The spa has a great view. Breakfast in our room was a 2-course luxurious affair. Highly highly recommended!
