We stayed there for 5 nights over Christmas. The cottage was clean, freshly decorated and fully equipped. The kitchen was quite big with everything we needed (oven with grill, new induction hob, air fryer, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, dishwasher, many dishes and pans - everything you need to prepare a meal) and stocked up with cereals, milk, porridge, instant noodles, coffee, tea, sugar. Also, there's a small village shop not even 2 minutes walk from the house. All the touch ups like welcome chocolates, wine and Christmas decorations made the stay even more comfortable. We were lucky to visit Elizabeth and Mark at their farm and meet the animals. In the cottage you will also find an electric shoe dryer, washing machine, hair dryer, wi-fi, tv, board games, etc.. Garden with a picnic table and driveway. We couldn't recommend it more!

Apartment 500 was very lovely, with great big windows, felt very homely and spacious. There were plenty of cooking utensils and utilities to make eating very easy. The apartment came with luxurious self care products as well as kitchen goods including coffee, wine, milk and biscuits.
Overall, we could not fault the place. So many lovely touches, we would love to stay here again on our next work trip to Thurso.

This is a very luxurious B&B in a beautiful setting overlooking the Castle of Mey. Our room was just lovely - and so comfortable. Amazing bathroom! The residents lounge area was also stunning. Highly recommend. The staff were so welcoming and helpful.
It was very clean, very modern. You have all the dishes there you could possibly need, the beds are very comfortable! Shower gel and hand soap felt very luxurious and smelt very nice! The hot tub overlooking sea and some amazing cliffs, very peaceful and quiet. You can reach shops like Morrisons and Tesco within couple mins drive. We are already thinking about booking again cause it was just amazing stay and the scenery is beautiful ❤️ Thank you for such an affordable and luxury stay !
Braeside Retreats is a Beautiful Pod with 360 Degree Views. Everything you need for a Self Catering Trip or offers the option to jump into the Car and Drive to the Local Town.
