The Stables at Ballyward Croft, hotel in Strangford

The Stables at Ballyward Croft is a recently renovated holiday home in Ardkeen, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden.

An immediate warm welcome from Kerry, loved the warm, uniquely decorated interior with the fab touch of Christmas decor and relaxing essential oil scent on arrival. Good parking for two outside. Everything about the place is geared towards comfort with surprise little touches like home made dog treats and floral salts for the hot tub. Felt so relaxed after the milk bath. Kerry was such an uplifting spirit on hand to answer questions and make our stay so easy. Such a friendly couple. Love that it’s tucked away from the main road with wonderful views of countryside when walking doggies. And a short drive to the nearest beach. Thank you!! Highly recommend the stables!

We love staying at this apartment. It is beautifully designed and furnished and you have everything you need. The location is perfect for a village stay, with the Cuan, the Artisan and the Hole in the Wall pub all within walking distance, and a couple of good grocery shops. We were lucky with the weather this July and enjoyed good walks at Kilclief and Ballyhornan beaches The hosts are very attentive. We had a problem with the TV and that was sorted out the same day.

Located in the heart of the village close to all amenities but nonetheless quiet. I was warmly welcomed, the accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The living/ dining area is particularly comfortable. The fridge was stocked with everything that one could need for a couple of nights stay.

The accomodation is located in the village close to the waterfront, restaurants and pubs. there are numerous attractions in the countryside around the village. Entry to the accomodation was by key-pad codes, but the restaurant staff were available when we arrived to show us in.

The house is beautiful, really good location right in the village. Very clean loads of space. Plentiful supplies, toilet roll, kitchen cleaning supplies and the essentials of coffee, salt pepper and oil for cooking. Kitchen had everything you could think of. A lot more than I was expecting even. The bath was an added luxury 😍
