The property was well located for the venue that we were visting on a daily basis. It was well appointed for a family of four with two dogs and had a homely feel about it.
The host were attentive prior to and during our stay and even arranged for fantastic weather by which to enjoy the external space and hot tub.

Squirrel Barn is a fun and eccentric place which genuinely caters to the whole family (and more!). It is a beautiful old building filled with anything and everything you could think of, with wonderful little touches and a really warm feeling. We were in the area to visit Alton Towers and to be honest we had just as much fun at Squirrel Barn! The owners are fantastic - friendly, accommodating and excellent at contact. The location was perfect and the fact there was a field with a horse right out side was an added bonus, the room was clean and comfy, there was a book with all the things you need to know like Doctors and hospital also somewhere to eat.

The property and the rooms were lovely, the pub and food part was very busy which was a good sign of a good quality with it being a small village. The rooms were lovely and the wee extras within the rooms are great and certainly did not make what you were paying for overall we were all very happy with the property.
Toldish cottage is 25 minutes from the centre of Stafford and was a welcome retreat on a farm. The location is peaceful and the place really well set up. Warm, comfortable and highly specified, I'll certainly come back if it's available next time. Check out the canal side farm shop on the way for excellent groceries.
A wonderful find for us. We were looking for an overnight stop near the M6 and chanced on this exceptionally pleasant hotel with a comfortable room, excellent food and friendly staff. It was also great value for money. Although conveniently close to the M6, the hotel is in a small scenic village and it has a picturesque setting beside a large duck pond. We will be back.
One of the nicest places that i have stayed so friendly and welcoming really clean nothing was to much, and in a lovely little village I was made to feel like a family member.FANSTASTIC

Had food brought up to my room after a manic day - omg food was amazing. Chicken burger was absolutely huge and the salad dressing was lovely. Good night's sleep even with a couple of issues
beautiful and scenic surroundings. the staff were so friendly and helpful. I arrived during a laser cut affecting the whole of the village and they were still calm and welcoming, helped me check in and have a drink in the bar by candlelight while we all waited.
Very pleasant hotel just a couple of minutes off the M6 but through a small village and far enough to avoid traffic noise. Very nice gardens and generally very quaint and cosy inside. There's a bar/restaurant which served a decent range of beers and the menu was good enough. The room was very clean and also cosy and comfortable. This place is ideal for a stopover while travelling where you can get some food, drink, sleep and breakfast.
