The hosts were very helpful, available on site at all times. There is a lovely pub that's a 20 minute walk across the field that takes dogs. Nice and peaceful for a family caravan site. Rufford Abbey is a lovely day out about 10 minute drive away.

What a lovely little place! The rooms are cosy and clean, lovely towels to use and set of shampoo. The place can sleep 6 so huge value for money! The host met us at the door and kept the wood burner on so it was lovely and warm for us when we arrived. Tea, coffee and bread and butter and jam provided. 1000% recommend !
Acorn Cottage is a recently renovated vacation home in Ollerton where guests can make the most of the garden and terrace. Guests may go for a swim in the private pool.

Lovely, quiet location. Very comfortable beds, good shower. Really helpful and responsive host. Good location for us around 10 minutes from NTU Clifton by car .

Southwell stay was excellent. Brilliant room with en suite and your own kitchen. All was clean and comfortable, a great place. Friendly and helpful staff/owners. Would definitely stay again. Very convenient to the village and the Reindeer Pub looks a great place to socialise.
We had a lovely stay at Southwell Retreat, its situated in lovely relaxing countryside and the pods are well equipped and cosy! We stayed in the Rosy Pod which was amazing and enjoyed the hot tub and outside seating area! Would definitely stay again, the host was also lovely and welcomed us to the pod!
It was delightful. The pod had everything you could have needed for the most comfortable luxury stay. It was decorated for a birthday and looked beautiful.
Fabulous location within the heart of the village. Exceptionally clean and welcoming, everything we needed was provided for. Great that tea/coffee, fresh milk, biscuits and bottle of wine was waiting for us.
Smart TV so we could use our Netflix and heating worked well as we visited in November.
The Retreat is a really lovely little home. It was immaculately presented with so much attention to detail. We stayed for 4 nights in October. There are so many amazing walks and cycles near by we wish we had longer. The bed was very comfortable and kitchen well stocked. I would highly recommend it .
The location was fantastic, so peaceful, dark night skies and a comfortable walk into the village.
We were with friends and felt all the benefits of camping with none of the down sides.
The temperature took a dive while we were there but we stayed cozy and warm with the underfloor heating, fan heater, plenty of bedding and a cozy hot water bottle.
We will DEFINITELY return, ideally again with friends, it's a perfect peaceful getaway on the outskirts of a fantastic, vibrant village.
