The room was nice and clean, bedding was quality cotton and pillows were firm but soft and luxurious. Breakfast was freshly cooked and a really good quality ingredients, (first time for about 20 years I have had fried bread!)
The location was perfect, nice and quiet and beachfront with lovely views. Staff very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. Nice room with a comfy bed and a bathroom with a bath! I had a lovely chilled out soak. Breakfast was great, more friendly staff. Generally a great place to stay.
Right in the heart of one of the most beautiful parts of my home town, this hotel is one of my favourite places in the world. Not the poshest or the most luxurious of places, but just look at that view. The staff are great, the food is fine, the price is reasonable, and my whole childhood is here.
Fabulous bedroom with luxury touches and luxury items, such as bathrobe, slippers, cleansing items etc. also, hot chocolate and fruit teas alongside the expected tea & coffee.
Absolutely fabulous breakfast cooked by the owner. Excellent value for money. Will definitely stay here again when visiting South Shields.
The Communication with Staff was very good and staff was helpful. The surroundings are very nice. The nice Village and beach are on the Corner and the metro brings you quickly into Newcastle. A good combination.

The location was so special, the room was absolutely stunning with a superb bath and atmosphere. Very relaxing and luxurious with nothing to interrupt our view of the sea.
