The house was better than advertised.
We loved the size of the living/dining area, which is where we spent the majority of our time.
The bedrooms were all so spacious and the mattresses were very comfy, we all slept really well.
The garden area is a nice space + there were garden games available, including a Ping Pong table which went down well with both the children + adults.
The local area is beautiful + peaceful, it's close to the river and canal with nice country walks.
The owners were very friendly and were there to help if we needed it.
We loved our stay so much we were able to extend to an extra night.
Whilst in the area we visited Bath + Longleat, both within easy reach.
We will definitely be back + have already recommended to friends.

The house was wonderful, very spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The pre-arrival email was very helpful. There was free parking outside the property from 6pm-8am and parking available near by outside these hours.

Great communication pre check in. Parking was easy and the room was clean. Gill kindly let us use her ironing board was we were off to an event locally. We spent the evening exploring the area and enjoyed a meal at the local pub which is an easy walk through the beautiful village.
A wonderful continental style breakfast was provided before checking out.
Beautiful surroundings, cosy room, very very clean, had everything you needed. Stunning village to walk around and room rate was excellent value for location and what if offered.
Lovely little cottage with all you need for a comfortable stay. Situated in a beautiful village with a great pub a short walk away. If peace and quiet is what you're after, the location of Cider Press Cottage delivers! Lucy (the host) was lovely and brought us a delicious lemon drizzle cake to welcome us; as well as brightening our rooms with some flowers fresh from the garden. The property is a short drive away to the nearest P&R and only a short bus ride from there to Bath city centre.
The room had a fridge which was well stocked with lovely things for breakfast. The room was super clean and comfortable with access to outside space. The house is situated close to a very pleasant little village which has a quaint little pub.
