From the moment we arrived, it was clear that great care and attention had been put into creating a cosy and inviting retreat. The lodge was spotless, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a truly comfortable stay. The little details throughout the space made it feel like a true home away from home. The private hot tub was a standout feature—perfect for unwinding and relaxing during our holiday. The well-appointed kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the private entrance added an extra touch of privacy to the experience.
One unforgettable highlight of our trip was the owner's thoughtfulness. On the third evening, they kindly knocked on our door to inform us of the Northern Lights' appearance. Without their heads-up, we might have missed this magical sight. Seeing the stunning Northern Lights from our window was a delightful experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at St. Clair House. It was comfortable, welcoming, and cozy, with plenty of space for sitting and relaxing, a roomy kitchen, and comfortable and spacious bedrooms. St. Margaret's Hope is really charming, and we loved feeling like we were a part of it. The host had left items that made our stay easy — extra towels, blankets, paper towels, etc.

Teresa and Malcolm, our hosts, welcomed us into their home and gave us many insightful tips about Orkney that made our trip run more smoothly. The breakfast was fresh and delicious each day and the room was generous in size with quality inclusions and a most incredible view! We most certainly recommend this accommodation for visitors to Orkney !!
