We loved staying here. The bungalow had a warm and welcoming feeling. There were lots of modern details such as light sensors and a projector. Light airy rooms finished to a high standard. A sleeping fox in the garden on our arrival.

Location was perfect for staying the night before we flew from Manchester Airport and was in walking distance of Hickory’s for our evening meal- secure entry via electric gates and marked parking space so we knew our car was safe. The cottage was bigger than we expected and the bed super comfy. Coffee/tea and milk were left by host and the shower was excellent- we had an early flight so were able to lock up and leave without disturbing anyone- we’d highly recommend this and will hopefully stay again

It was beautifully presented and felt very homely. The host had put a lot of thought into what guests may need for their stay. There was ample room for the three of us and it was so nice we decided to stay in and have a Chinese takeaway and have a good catch up around the dining table. The location was great, just a couple of minutes walk to the town centre, which had lots of cafes, pubs, shops and a great market.

The barn is very nicely furnished and clean. Stylish and comfortable. The hot tub was an added bonus and was lovely and hot when we arrived.
Lots of nice little touches like hot chocolate and marshmallows, milk and crisps. Would definitely stay again.

The property is a little dated but offers everything that you need. The location is beautiful and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I thought it was a very relaxing retreat.
Lovely spot on the edge of the village. Only stayed 1 night on our travels and it worked out very well. Good parking, good bar, good breakfast, lovely staff. Room was a great size for a family with two younger kids
The hotel is well located and I stay there regularly. This time, my room was a little larger than standard, with an excellent shower room. There are lots of nice luxury touches which, given the price of the room, make it great value. This time I had breakfast - eggs florentine - and whilst it took a while for them to come, the quality was outstanding: freshly made hollandaise sauce was wonderful.
Beautiful place. Peace and quiet. Clean, homey. First class breakfast. Prepared by the owner. Everything fresh and healthy. Eggs, toast, fish, milk, orange juice, delicious coffee. And much more. A beautiful dining room with a softly playing radio and a comfortable living room for relaxation. Clean room, luxurious bathrooms with modern shower. All you need. I recommend this place. I will be happy to go back there.
