Historic building with lots of character in a nice village location. All staff were friendly and helpful. Location was quiet and the bedrooms have a lot of character …… but staircases and age of building might make access harder for a wheelchair user.

Breakfast was good, generous and tasty. It finished a little early for a weekend stay I would say but was freshly cooked to order, done well and the service was friendly if not extremely quick. The room was immaculately clean and the location perfect for what we needed, a short walk from the village and an easy stroll to watch the polo and walk around the pretty old ruins at Cowdray Park. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

The property is 18th Century and very quirky. Situated next to a babbling brook, and away from the noise of traffic, it’s idyllic for a quiet retreat. Midhurst is only 1 mile away, and there are 2 great pubs less than 500m. The host, Miranda, is adorable and very welcoming. The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. We will definitely be back for a stay.

I loved the location, the size of the room and facilities, lots of quiet dog walks literally from outside the door. The pub was very close to Midhurst and other very pretty villages so eating out was not a problem, just a shame that I would have occasionally eaten in the pub restaurant but it only served Thai food which I enjoy but not every day. Staff were very friendly and helpful I shall definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

Sally was lovely since the reservation and sent us all the details needed to reach the house. Many beautiful villages in the area and a great Pub ( White Horse ) close by. We will return for sure.
