beautiful little appartment. It had everything we needed. Little kitchen, small living room with TV, also small outside sitting area. The appartment respectively the whole village is located a little remote which we liked a lot. Very peaceful and silent place.
Not to forget hosts Anna and Scotty. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wunderful stay.
Location, location, location. Drimsynie is set at the head of Loch Goil and is surrounded by stunningly beautiful Scottish scenery! The hotel is comfortable and offers lots to do, especially for kids, but we spent most of our time walking around the village and surrounding hills! The food was excellent and the staff were very pleasant!
The view from the cottage and the garden were beautiful. Such a quiet and peaceful location that you can properly relax in. The small sun room was perfect when cold or wet, and to see the red squirrel. We put out nuts and it came by around 8am several times. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are comfy. There is a good size parking space. There is a small post office and shop in the village with basic essentials. It takes cash only, but you can take cash out at the post office (when it's open)
The house was well equipped with everything you'd find in a home. 3 bedrooms with double beds that were very comfortable. Sky TV. A 5 min walk into the village. Parking right outside for more than one car.
Very picturesque location. Staff were very accommodating and nice. Great facilities and perfect location for exploring western Scotland. Room was good size and clean and comfortable. The facility woukd be great for a family location, we only stayed 1 night and wished we'd stayed another few. Great family entertainment if that's what your after but also a quiet pub owned by the hotel just a few minutes walk away in the village centre. Great value for money.
Beautiful location on the Loch with red squirrels and a large selection of small wild birds feeding in the garden. Really excellent, imaginative vegan breakfast. Lovely staff. Great little pub in the village for dinner.
Great stay at the Lochside appartent. It was clean and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The landscape and direct surrounding at the Loch amazing, very lonely and quiet. Next village with a small grocery store and restaurants is a 20 minute car ride on a one lane small road apart.
