We loved the location, very easy to take the bus everywhere from here, very easy to walk by the Sea. The apartment was lovely and quiet, very well appointed. Richard gave us a friendly warm welcome and lots of great insider info about what to see during our visit. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for a longer time!

Lovely, comfortable relaxing quiet place to stay. The annexe is done out beautifully, exceptionally clean, with all the creature comforts. If you want to stay near the coast without the hassle of hotel check in/out's, NCP carparks or on street parking etc, i would choose here everytime. We will definitely be returning again. It really is a little gem of a place for a peaceful stay.

The hosts at the snug are delightful, helpful and very welcoming. Our snug was spacious, well thought out and had exactly what we needed for a comfortable short stay (2nights). The rooms were clean and luxurious, the welcome treats delicious and the continental breakfast we added on was the best we've ever had. The village of Firle is pretty, and one can easily walk to the church and to Firle Place, which was open for morning coffee. The room was clean. Service was friendly, if slow.

What’s not to like, it’s the most beautiful place I have stayed. Just the break we needed. 5 minutes walk and you are in the South Downs and wow spectacular views. Beautifully decorated. Everything you need is there. Luxury and romantic.
Enjoyed a lovely relaxing week at this modern, clean, comfortable, well equipped lodge. Great location for lots of country and coastal walks, visiting national trust properties and nearby towns and villages. Friendly team of helpful staff. Hot tub great for soaking away aching limbs after a full day! Would definitely return.
Simone's attention to detail is exceptional, making our stay really comfortable and luxurious. We loved the seclusion and tranquility waking up in the cottage. A delicious breakfast on the doorstep each morning added the finishing touch.
The house is just a minute or two's walk to a bus stop to Lewes town center. A quality breakfast basket was supplied with muesli, croissants, preserves, tea and coffee with milk and bottled water. The lounge overlooks the patio garden, has a wood burning stove and a luxurious sofa. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering but we only stayed one night.
