The place was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased that there were 2 bathrooms since there were 3 ladies traveling. It was nice that the key was in the lockbox and the code given to me so we did not have to wait for anybody to open the place for us. The area was quiet and having parking available was a bonus.

The location was perfect, peace and quiet with wonderful views around it. The pod was well equipped with everything we needed. Everything was very clean and tidy. Cosy feeling all round. The decking was lovely overlooking the pond with the fire pit. Great value. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a relaxing break.

The location of the hotel is lovely-right on the water front in a beautiful village. The breakfast was great both quantity and quality, and served by very friendly staff who went above and beyond to help with special likes /dislikes. Good selection of yoghurt, cereal, juices and full cooked Scottish.

Location is incredible - overlooking the Solway Firth - and the house has so much character. Very cosy and comfortable in beautiful village of Kippford. A real treat to be able to stay there.

Great location in the centre of this lovely village. Staff in the Anchor were really friendly, lovely evening meal & fab hotel. Watched the rugby here & a half time treat of free pies!! We’ll be back!!
Superb location, right on the side of the Urr estuary with lovely views. Any number of dog walks along the river through the pretty village of Kippford, Jubilee Path to Rockliffe etc. A very friendly and homely feel to the hotel - a busy pub with a good selection of beers and we had an excellent evening meal by a roaring fire, with our two dogs beside us. Excellent freshly cooked to order breakfast in the very well presented restaurant, which looks like it's been recently refurbished.
Coral Cabin was very clean and well equipped in anything you may need from kitchen items to entertainment like books and board games. It is only a short walk from the village, where you can have a delicious meal in the local pub or start your walk to the neighbouring villages.
The apartment was big enough for two people and was comfortable. It is ideally situated just a short walk down into the village with its two pubs. There are a number of attractions easily reached in the area.
