Good location, not easy to find (take the first left before the car park and then right). Really clean and good location, would be even better with a microwave for the Portknockie room with ensure only.

Location was ideal for our early morning ferry to Orkney the next morning. No breakfast.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Stunning vistas. Excellent room, bathroom, guest lounge and delicious breakfast. Wonderful host. Gail went the extra mile and met us in the village when our GPS failed.
Good location, large apartment, well equipped and comfortable. Lovely sea view. Description as luxury is maybe a bit of a stretch, but that didn’t detract from our stay!

An absolutely beautiful location. A charming cottage very close to the seaside - peace and quiet, stunning views and the center of the village within a walking distance in one package deal. Old building but with necessary amenities. The place can easily host up to six people. The beds were comfortable. I especially liked the kitchen/living room area on the first floor. We took a trip to the Orkneys which was a unique experience and the harbor is not far from the cottage. I can only recommend the place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
1. Everything! It was luxurious & immensely comfortable. The kitchen was well setup and the bathroom very modern. Great pillows & a very comfortable bed.
2. We decided to extend our stay after our first night, and this was organised easily on-site.
The room was beautiful and spacious with a view to Orkney and the John O'Groats signpost. There were more facilities than we expected in the village (cafes, shops etc). The biggest disappointment was only booking one night.
OMG... Where do I start... Gordon our host was so lovely and personal, he made our anniversary extra special and went above all our expectations. John O'Groats is so beautiful, even now in closed season. There is a local called Seaview which is a hub for residents of the village, which is warm, welcoming and friendly. We are definitely going back soon.

The host, Gail, drove us to the village centre for our evening meal so we could have a drink.
luxurious accommodation spotlessly clean the breakfast was out of this world friendly welcome. This is a must accommodation to stay if you are visiting the John O Groats area.
