The beds were large and incredibly comfortable. It was clean and we were provided with milk and a welcome pack. Access was easy, good parking. The living space was cosy and warm, excellent bathroom facilities. A really lovely barn.
Perfect for families, groups, or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while traveling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, free-standing mansions – travelers can cook, lounge, and explore at their own pace. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Omg stay in the wishing well .. the bath tub is to the next level ! Amazing
The food was delicious , duck top notch! Even my partner said best tasting curry his tried .
Lovely walk around the village & fields with our 2 dogs . Love it being so dog friendly too and being able to let them off in the beer garden is a bonus.
Excellent location for our needs.A short walk behind the hotel leads to the very pretty village of East Garston..Our room and en suite were excellent.Tea,coffee water and biscuits provided with towels and Sky tv in the room.Excellent dining room both for dinner and breakfast.Recommended.
Excellent location, spotlessly clean and tidy, comfy beds. Hungerford village is very pretty with some lovely antique shops. Beautiful walks around the common or down the side of the canal. Excellent!
The important bits: Large, well appointed room, with a very luxurious roll top bath, good tea and coffee making facilities and a comfortable bed, all for a reasonable price (although I did have a discount code). Hungerford is also a really lovely place, I'd recommend a walk along the Kennett and Avon canal, especially in the summer months (it was a bit muddy when I went), or a walk across the common which is very near to the hotel. Lots of lovely antique shops to dib about in too!
Lovely village pub and the quirky nature of the rooms was fun, Only been here for food once before, it was lovely to see the christmas decorations up, the only thing missing was a roaring log fire :-) Oh and the shower in the room was amazing!!
Location was out of this world although a little hard to get to, narrow roads and high hedges. Beautiful views from every window and very peaceful even the owls seemed to lull us to sleep with a hooting lullaby. Jenny is an excellent hostess and very accommodating. Even her dogs are lovely and very well behaved. Bed comfortable and bathroom luxurious with Neal's Yard Remedies hand wash and shower gel (Geranium and Orange)
A welcome retreat from torrential rain and comfortable quiet room with large screen tv. Helpful receptionist brought electric fire as it was a cold day. Dinner was good.
Lovely room, super comfy bed.
Large bathroom with great shower
Great breakfast included in price.
Lovely staff, friendly and helpful.
Fabulous evening meal.
Handy for the M4 but still in the countryside. Pretty village only 1/4 mile away.
The scenery was breathtaking, beautiful countryside walks. Super comfortable bed with crisp white linen and a luxurious bath to soak in, not forgetting a really good shower too . Great breakfast, cereals, croissants and granary bread with farm fresh butter, preserves and milk and quality coffee.
Jenny is a lovely host, and very informative about the area and has created a really homely atmosphere within this beautiful cottage along with her two very friendly dogs.
