It had everything we needed as a family of 5 with 3 little ones. The kids were particularly delighted with the Christmas tree and games. It was the perfect base for our overnight stay in Belfast for a show and the Christmas markets. We were also allowed to check in early which was greatly appreciated. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend to family and friends visiting Belfast.

The house and especially the kitchen was very well stocked. There isn't anything that Paul hasn't thought of. I stayed for 6 nights so it was quite a long stay, and the thoughtfulness really helped.
The location is brilliant with easy access to the main road that has wonderful restaurants and the bus stop is a 2 min walk.
Paul's communication was excellent and it's evident that he cares deeply about hospitality.

This property looks like a picture in a travel magazine. We were totally blown away. It is a very private cottage and beautifully decorated. The host was a great communicator and had left us fresh eggs, pastries, fruit, cheese, milk, juice and cereals. The kitchen was totally furnished with a cook top, convection oven, and fridge if you wanted to cook. The shower had great hot water. Comfortable bed with nice linens. We wished we were staying more than one night. There is a large wooden gate where you go through to get to the cottage.
We visited the Titanic Museum, and you need to plan at least three hours there.

I would give a 6 star review if i could. The place is so immaculately clean, smells like a spa, has all the amenities and extras you could ever need, a very comfortable bed and a super responsive & friendly host. Truly felt like a luxury experience! Would highly recommend it to everyone. It’s honestly a shame we’re staying here for a wedding because we wish we could spend more time in the house!!

Everything about Gweebarra was exceptional - from the room to the warm and friendly welcome from Tim, the owner. The rooms are large, clean and luxurious. The house is surrounded by lovely, mature gardens which can be enjoyed outside or from the comfort of your room. Holywood is a beautiful, coastal town and Gweebarra offers easy access to seaside walkways. I would certainly recommend Gweebarra to friends and family interested in staying in Belfast.
We loved everything about Gweebara, lovely room, lovely host, great breakfast. totally relaxed atmosphere. Our host Tim couldn’t possibly have been nicer to us. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcome. Breakfast was a most relaxing experience with plenty of choices. Beautiful bedroom and luxurious bedding. We look forward to going back again.

Tim is a wonderful host with a beautiful home in a quiet suburb outside Belfast; we stayed in a twin room on the ground floor that was spacious & well appointed. The bathroom was large and as luxurious as you would find in any 5 star hotel.
