It was really lovely accommodation. Whilst storm Bert was raging, we were snuggly and warm and felt hidden away from the rest of the world. Although we were in someone’s garden, the blinds gave us privacy and the skylight was nice for watching the clouds roll by.
We arrived really late at night and the host helped us out in our slightly tiddly state. (we’d been to a wedding).
We wanted a day to relax before flying to Dublin and this was the perfect hidey hole to do it. We watched films in bed and chilled.

The room was very luxurious. It had a double shower and beautiful free standing bath. The room was enormous and beautifully decorated. The bed was very spacious and super comfy. The only downside of the room is that it is on the high street so the noise from outside is noticeable in the room but it didn’t stop us from sleeping.
Beautiful property set in a stunning location, facilities were very luxurious and modern but still in keeping with the period features. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Will definitely be returning for another stay ❤️
The location was perfect, right in the town centre. Car parking could be tricky as it is accessed via a narrow street with parked vehicles, plus the intercom for access was broken at the time of our visit. Our room was also spacious and comfortable, as expected for a deluxe room. Wonderful touches of luxury toiletries in the bathroom! The rest of the hotel was beautiful and welcoming with an amazing courtyard area to sit with drinks or enjoy afternoon tea.
Rooms are luxurious, showers are powerful and staff are friendly. Food and bar service also top notch. Scrambled eggs on sourdough and smoked salmon for breakfast is superb..
