Some previous reviews said the decor was a bit tired. I did not find it so. The room I had was very well refurbished, and well maintained. The main hall and reception are decorated in a manner reminiscent of a club, which is entirely appropriate for a country house built in Victorian times, with gardens laid out by a famous designer of that period. Its a bit remote, since the adjoining village is very small, so the half board deal is in my view good value.
We arrived early but were able to leave luggage, have lunch, go to Warner Village and then book in upon our return. Dinner was excellent and the staff in both reception and dining room were friendly and professional.

Room was clean and in room amenities were good and available. The main mattress was ok, I would rate as spare room comfortable, not main room, or luxury (as with the "purple" hotel company). The breakfast was good and generous. The pub next door was great. Your website says not evening food available when there is an evening menu, so probably that needs amending. Was £50 p.p..p.n reasonable, I think £35-40 more value for money.
Great customer service from receptionist and bar staff (especially the woman at the Golf Bar early evening). Quiet surroundings, good sleeps. Ample parking and only a short car drive to King's Langley village with a wide choice of eateries and a couple of pubs.
A genuine warm welcome in the reception. Surprisingly quiet rooms being on the main road. Thoughtful preparation - the a/c was working very well when we arrived. Clear information about parking. A pub, with good food, within a munite of walking outside. Super luxury it isn't, but a really good overnight it is. Thanks.
Quiet and safe location, cozy new house, very friendly hosts and we had nice welcome-gift for our family, There is railway nearby but it wasn't any disturbing noise inside. We would stay in Aspen Villa again. Very convenient location when travelling by car.
Aspen Villa was very clean and comfortable, well equipped with everything you could need. Good location for driving to Harry Potter tour and within easy walking distance to food shops, pubs and restaurants.
