The location was very good with local pubs and restaurants. The furnishings and appliances were of a high standard. Three excellent Tvs with Sky. Great sliding windows in lounge. Our overall stay was good.

The location was great, a perfect spot to explore the Peaks. The house was well equipped and comfortable. Parking was available. The decor was great and communication with the host was good. The kitchen is well stocked and the welcome bowl of fruit and snacks was a nice touch. There were loads of toiletries in the bathroom which was a nice touch.

It was very comfortable, homely and well furnished and had everything you need. Lovely garden for the dogs and the lounge was a suntrap even with the snow. Easy to get to but peaceful setting. Lovely area and easy to get to lots of different places via the nearby motorway.

Loved the layout of the house, perfect for two with a nice outdoor space. The hot tub was necessary after all the walking we did! Location was great too, enough in the village with a restaurant and pubs and walks from the front door.

Bed in other room is nice but very firm ( great if you have bad back). 2 toilets was a bonus and downstairs shower fab.
Lovely little welcome basket was a bonus too.
Close to the village centre, and lots of walks from the front door.

Beautiful cottage, Cosy, little place with all facilities needed, perfect for what we needed. We had no issue with parking. Round the corner from the village. Perfect for reaching other corners of Peak District. Great location and great price.
We love the village of Hayfield and the property is well situated for walking up
Snake Path. It had been beautifully furnished and the bath in the master bedroom is lovely!
Great cozy and original lodge located in Hayfield with access to public transport, restaurants and hiking routes. Easy to find with amazing customer service and for a quick and casual getaway to nature. Do not expect luxury stay, but I would highly recommend it if you want to have a British experience in all senses. Very clean accommodation and kind staff.
Everything, completely private luxurious and spotlessly clean. Amazing. The best accommodation I’ve stayed at through booking.com will be coming back in August!
The cottage was beautiful, and in the perfect location in the village. The hosts communicated well and even came to bring us extra firewood due to the snow. The bed was so comfortable and the bath a luxury. I could not fault a thing.
