Great communication with the host, we've noticed the hairdryer is missing, and it was delivered to us within an hour even though it was a New Year's day! Kasia is very caring about your comfort. We loved the place it is very spacious, with a lovely garden and a beach hut in there as well. The house is very well equipped, we were able to easily find all the utensils to make breakfast and dinner. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the beach or to the city centre by walk, and just 3 minutes to the local convenience store.

The hotel is located in the town centre, with check-in in the pub and with the choice of entering the hotel through the pub or a separate entrance, only a few steps from the carpark.

West Lodge was a lovely B&B set in a delightful, very quiet spot and Clare was a very welcoming & friendly hostess who ensured that our stay was most comfortable and restful. Nothing was too much trouble for Clare who was prepared to serve our particular choices for breakfast and was able to direct us to a village where we were meeting friends. This was certainly one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at.
What a lovely place! Superb quality and luxurious retreat. Very safe and secure with huge amounts of space for the kids to explore and play. A great wee find that we thoroughly enjoyed for a night catching up with family.
Nice little holiday village, each house had parking was some privacy. Stayed in the honeymoon cottage was nice to be a little away from everyone else. Pillows were good, bathroom was nice and clean, good little kitchen facility. Hot tub was great!
This is the gold standard!!! Decor is beautiful, and tastefully presented in equal measure. The cottage is roomy and suited our family to a tee. Good sized rooms with comfy beds and luxurious furnishings. The bathroom has a lovely freestanding bath and a powerful shower. It really is everything and more.
Breakfast was on time, excellently cooked to a high standard and service was of a high, friendly nature.
The situation of West Lodge makes it a delightful, quiet, rural retreat.
Fully furnished, neat clean and tidy. Perfect for us, a family of three. Own holiday park home with hot tub. Gated community and nice tidy and quiet grounds. Close to Eastbourne, Lewis etc and sights like the Seven Sisters, Birling Gap, Cuckmere river, quaint picturesque villages …… in beautiful Sussex.
Beautiful room, it was wonderfully decorated, very clean and the bathroom felt so luxurious with plenty of soaps etc. We were pampered which is what was needed actually so we are grateful to our lovely hostess who provided a very good breakfast and local knowledge. Set in lovely grounds, we had a lovely view of spring blossom trees. We arrived late as we had a long journey during peak time but the lady was very gracious about this and most welcoming. Would certainly use this luxury B&B again!
