Very comfortable, close to lots of tourist spots and Folkestone seafront/Harbour was a nice place to spend the evening with many restaurants.

We loved the location of the cottage, parking was opposite and free in the road opposite. The cottage is immaculate, the pillows are the softest we have ever used! The cottage is clean, immaculate. The photos don't do it justice, it is really pretty inside. Booking a cottage was private, safe and far better than booking a hotel. There is privacy, and a lovely tidy garden with patio and table and chairs. Our host ruth was lovely and friendly and met us at the front of the house to drop off the keys. The location is excellent, right next to Hythe high street and Sainsburys is within walking distance for any late night snacks. The cottage is literally across the road from the canal for quite walks. The cottage is in a quiet, safe and a peaceful location. The two double bedrooms were roomy and comfortable and the cottage had plenty of space for dining and two very comfy sofas. A perfect place to relax and unwind and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful break.

Immaculate bijou property. Cleanliness to an impressive standard and little touches were unexpected and very welcome which included a pint of milk in the fridge, welcome pack, toiletries and very clean towels and bedding. Great facilities and beautifully decorated and finished to a very high standard. Everything has been thoughtfully done and all scenarios thought of. Clear and precise instructions and information. Small and cosy but enough space for a couple. If only we'd had the opportunity to chill a little more and enjoy the property whilst staying. Handy location and next time we will visit the local park and duck pond with cafe. Clear instructions to find property. Bed very comfortable and loved the pillows - need to get some!

I was concerned having read other reviews. But we stayed in an enormous family room with super comfortable, luxurious beds. Obviously some of the decor is dated but our room was clean, huge and with great beds.
Clean, cheap, parking in the back, good spot regarding beach and town. If you are spending more time outside and need just a place to sleep and shower, it's perfect. It's not 5 star luxury, but I wasn't aiming for that. I will be using it again.
Great location, very friendly and helpful welcome, very good communication via e-mail, only 2 minutes drive to channel tunnel, thank you for the lunch packet instead of breakfast; that was very helpful as we left the premesis at 5:45 a.m.! Excellent eveningmeal at the Gatekeeper Inn in the next village - thank you for the recommendation! Very interesting chat with Gordon - thank you for the historical information. During our next visit we will take the time to explore the area.
It was right by the docks so a great view of the boats & seafront. It’s also very close to the town centre & the main beachfront. Lovely room with a great view over the harbour & very peaceful at night. The owner was so lovely & the staff in the pub very welcoming. Nice little pub too.
Location was perfect, with a harbourside view of the day to day workings of a seaside village (as it probably was years back). Good welcoming host, no fuss, come and go as you please (own rear access entrance door). Bottled water and coissant most welcome, along with the usual tea & coffee etc. Good access to all amentities, shops, pubs (obvs!), harbour and beachfront. Room semmed to be newly refurbished, tidy shower, lovely crisp bedding.
Located in a nice part of the town amongst Edwardian villas. Comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. Smart bar area downstairs. The three staff we saw were friendly and were as helpful as they could be.
