We very much enjoyed the stay. The lodge itself was lovely. The living area was very comfy and clean.
You can't hear the nearby A1 or any traffic. The park itself was quiet. The running fox nearby is worth a short drive for some afternoon tea. Also Edlingham castle ruins and surrounding areas are pretty.
HOT TUB: The hot tub was nice and we used it both nights. Fence around the hot tub was great for privacy. The gap in the fencing makes the hot tub a little too open. Maybe something could help make it more private. I think it probably needs some attention. There was dirt or grit in the bottom / on the seats. For this reason I am not sure how often it is completely emptied and cleaned. I am no hot tub expert and no idea about this but it just seemed a little older or less well kept than other hot tubs I have used. We were still able to use it, it worked ok and it was the reason we chose the lodge.
WIFI - We paid for the WiFi as we wanted to be able to call our families and kids while we were away and knew the phone signal would probably be lacking. The WiFi shouldn't be chargeable as it's not very good. Just add the cost in with the lodge cost rather than making it an extra chargeable add on, since its a bit hit and miss. Makes it feel like you're paying for something that is just a bit rubbish to be honest.
KITCHEN: Kitchen was well equipped and everything worked. I'm not sure things are washed or checked after previous guests by cleaners. We were asked to wash and dry all dishes prior to leaving, which we did. But when we arrived the mugs weren't well cleaned. Probably down to the previous people staying in the lodge and no checks on this kind of thing. We washed everything again before use. Something to watch out for if you are staying. There are no trays to use in the oven. We looked everywhere. Either trays and / or foil would have been handy for oven food to cook on. Other than that the kitchen was well equipped.

Location is excellent. From the moment we walked in we were in total awe. Absolutely immaculate, spacious, and beautiful surroundings. Lots of lovely special touches inside the lodge and so very cozy and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

For a one night stop on our way to Scotland it was fine. Very close to the A1 so convenient for onward travel. The mobile home park was quiet and well kept.

It was easy to get too and extremely homely when we arrived.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Scenic Retreat, this was our second time here and will definitely be returning again. Everything is close by so you don't have to travel far to beaches, towns etc. The hot tub is an added bonus was so nice to relax in the evenings, it's also very quite on the park which we liked 😄
Rosie was very friendly. The lodge is in a great location in the village and the space is great. My 1 year old loved the play kitchen and the goats too. Handy having the sofa bed too, as it was my husband and I, our little one and the grandparents.
The lodge was lovely and the hot tub was a welcome added luxury. The little bar next to the lodge called The Tavern is lovely and much better than the clubhouse. Friendlier staff.
Location of the park was ideal to be able to visit nearby villages such as Amble, Morpeth, Alnwick. The lodge was also located in a quiet spot and was very spacious. The welcome pack was nice touch and we had a lovely couple of days here, just what we needed.
Panthouse Lodge is in a beautiful little village and very accessible to many other places along the Northumberland coast. The lodge was very clean and my daughter loved being able to see the sheep, goats and chickens from the living room! Rosie was very welcoming. The Northumberland Arms and The Running Fox cafe are both well worth a visit in Felton!
Scenic retreat was perfect,the pictures of this place really don't do it justice,spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay,definitely recommend and will 100% be booking again.
Loved The Retreat at Felmoor Park. Very comfortable lodge with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The site has a lovely bar and restaurant with very friendly and wecolming staff. Would I book this holiday again? Yes most definitely. We are already looking to book it again for next year.
