As long as you can manage the very steep narrow staircase, this is a little gem of a cottage. It is very well equipped with many little extras. It's spotlessly clean with high-quality bedding and towels. A small problem we had with the heating was promptly dealt with. The proximity to the town and river is great.

The house was very comfortable and in a quiet location. We never heard the neighbours nor any street noise so it was super relaxing. Lola made it very welcoming with lots of extra touches such as mulled wine and mince pies for us as we stayed over Christmas. My twins loved their room at the back of the property and enjoyed their own space. We had some nice walks despite the gloomy weather although sadly too cold to sit in the garden. Would definitely recommend the house for couples and families alike.

The host Tim was so helpful and and fascilities were very clean and well chosen for this apartment . Great activities nearby as well as games provide . Tv I’m each room and bathrooms were well kitted out . Towel luxurious and the hallway and shared front door and parking well lit and very safe .
Lovely feel to the hotel. It really does feel more luxurious than a budget hotel. Loved that the hotel had a bar and seating that we could enjoy in the evening. Also the bed was huge and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location for walking into town and to the beach front.
Easy to find hotel with a lot of character and lovely foyer/reception area. Nice sized room which Gil the receptionist sorted out kindly for me and safe storage for my bike. Had a bath as well in the room which after I had cycled 50 miles was a delight. 10 mins to beachfront and first time in Felixstowe and was very impressed. Excellent place for a stopover.
