It's a wonderful place, so inviting and homely. We travelled with 2 teenagers and they loved the feel if this place. Host was 10/10

We had an absolutely wonderful experience, location is perfect, situated near Gunwarf quays, close to the train station, bus stop is right in front, restaurant and bar is 2mins away, the city centre is 11mins walk, making it easy to explore the city. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with comfortable bed, modern amenities, great view. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi and hot water. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Portsmouth.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
We loved the spa facilities and pool although a little steep £25 for a family to use, should be included in the price really.
The room was clean and spacious and adequate facilities such as tea and coffee and a water machine just outside the room.
Good parking and very close to a small shopping village and other restaurants.
Location is great with Whitely Village down the road and close to Southampton and Portsmouth.
Plenty of parking.
Good size room, lovely big, comfy bed and fab shower.
Good amount of storage for clothes etc and nice to have an iron and board in the room.
Great size telly, good amount of sockets and USB Ports around the room.
Good controls for adjusting the temperature of the room, which are easy to use.
Free WiFi, that worked well.
Hotel was quiet and we slept well.
Very quiet location with just a little train noise. Two blocks from the supermarket. Easy access to the sights of Portsmouth and the Roman villa. Good internet. Nice shower.
Fantastic breakfast in main house (Grade 1 listed). Lots of beautiful portraits and other paintings in main house. Leave some time to enjoy them. Good gym and pool with long opening hours.
The accomodation is in a modern block next to the house. It is very good value for money, clean and comfy but doesn't feel luxurious, more like decent chain hotel. Didn't have time to walk the grounds but it looked good. Quiet.
The breakfast offering was good. It did not state on the menu that pancakes had to be ordered. I was only given that information when I asked where they were.
The aspect of the room was good for us, quiet at the back of the hotel but near the pool and on the ground floor. The location of the hotel was also good as we wanted to explore the local villages and towns.
The large size bedroom with a view of the large garden.
The luxury ensuite with a stand alone bath.
The hospitality from the Georgia and her son Theo that made us feel welcomed and safe.
