Everything is modern clean and comfortable. I have stayed here many times as I travel up to Scotland on a weekly basis in the summer for work. Perfect stay , unfortunately the price has now increased and it is out of my budget for future stays , which is a shame as a solo female traveller I felt safe at the property . Hosts are friendly and great communication. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Dunfermline to book this property if in their budget.

Gaining entry to the property was so simple and the hosts were great when I was communicating with them.

On arrival the cottage was impressive, getting access was easy with parking and key collection. The cottage is beautiful inside and out. Clean, homely and comfortable. We were greeted with a bottle of fizz and a personalised card welcoming us to the cottage. Communication from the owners was brilliant, contacting me before our arrival and providing us with contact information if we needed anything while we were there (which we didnt). We rented the cottage as a staying place to complete an event in the area, unfortunately the event got cancelled so we ended up spending more time in the cottage than we originally planned, and because the cottage was so peaceful and comfortable we soon forgot about our disappointment for the event. Safe to say we will be booking again next year, to hopefully complete the event in 2026.

Hotel was perfectly situated for a family event we were attending in the village, staff were helpful and friendly , rooms a good size bathrooms seemed to have been updated , beds comfortable and room very clean. The hotel is in a very good place to commute into central Edinburgh. I stayed over 1 night to take my daughter to Edinburgh Zoo the following day. The commute is only 30 minutes away. Charlestown is a beautiful picturesque village with a Harbour which over looks the stunning Queensferry bridge too.
The apartment was exceptionally clean and cozy, making it a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. Every corner of the space was well-maintained, and it was evident that cleanliness is a top priority for the host. The host was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Whether it was offering local tips, helping with directions, or just being available for any inquiries, their hospitality was top-notch. It made a significant difference in the overall experience, adding a personal touch.
Lovely location in quiet village. Staff were excellent, helpful and professional. Very comfy bed and great shower. Food was excellent. Highly recommend . Will be back soon.
