Spacious room with easily adjustable heating and comfortably fitted out. Very obliging staff and a good breakfast, as was the evening meal. Serving times generous. Location on a main road suited us because we were setting off for home. Traffic noise not a problem as our room was in a separate block behind the main building. If we decide to explore the area at a later date we will certainly consider this hotel as a base.

From pre arrival, the host was extremely welcoming and helpful. The property itself is in an idyllic location , at least for our needs was perfectly positioned. It is ideal for a couple or single traveller, fully equipped , good WiFi, underfloor heating for the cold days and much more.

Location was lovely. Host was lovely and welcomed us on arrival and to show us use of the heating system in the property and the pool. The cottage is a beautiful building. Pool was nice.

A beautiful property that has been furnished to a high standard. Check in was easy with a pin access key and Lucy made sure that we were happy on the first evening which was appreciated. The Cartlodge was warm and comfortable over two days of frosty weather and it’s in a quiet area.

This place is amazing ...so much thought from the hosts and a lovely contained environment for our dogs. Super power shower and lovely decoration. The wood burner is lovely and comforting and over all a relaxing peaceful retreat. Dont think anymore just book ...bring your home comforts and get ready for the blood pressure to drop
Although there was no breakfast included, the cabin had everything one could hope for to prepare own breakfast.
The cabin is beautiful ... well appointed, cozy, spotlessly clean, two bedrooms and two bathrooms .... a luxury!
Have camped as a couple in the past (mainly in France), but this was our first 'glamping' experience. Obviously the idea is luxury camping and quite apart from the excellent facilities (e.g. the kitchen / bathroom and separate shower - room all spotlessly clean and with a lovely feel, plus the Pizza oven which was fun to use) the over -riding sense of luxury for me is the fact you get the whole - quite sizeable - plot to yourself ! My wife appreciated and used the on site herb garden, Eleanor was an excellent and friendly host.
