Full of character & renovated really well. Clean, furnished simply but sufficiently, spacious lounge and bedroom.
Easy to find, easy check in & great communication from John. On street parking within a close proximity for limited time but that worked well for my stay.
Easy access to High Street to shops, Waitrose a short walk away, the high street is lovely with lots of interesting buildings & shops, lovely church nearby too.

This cottage was exceptional. When we arrived it was decorated for Xmas and wood had been left for the fireplace. It is decorated beautiful with lots of touches like books and games. Tea, Coffee and Biscuits had been left out for us.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They helped us understand how to set up the hot tub (which was great) and they made sure we knew they were on hand if we needed anything during our stay.
The cottage is in a great location with a little stream outside. There is a pub and a very well stocked shop a few minutes walk. It’s a 10 minute drive away from Stonehenge.
The beds were super comfortable. The central heating worked really quickly to warn us up in the morning. At night we lit the fire which made the living room so cosy. The kitchen was so well equipped. There is a utility room with a washer and dryer.
My only suggestion to the hosts would be to get a new TV as the current one has some patches on the screen and we could only watch YouTube and Netflix. A newer SMART TV like a Roku would allow renters to log in to iPlayer and ITVX and watch live TV.

Beautiful interesting building. Good quality finish that felt luxurious throughout. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was really comfortable and well thought out. Fridge in room so could have fresh milk and they supply decent sized mugs with good quality tea and coffee.
The hosts were very lovely & looked after us really well. The breakfast was yummy. We felt we were staying with a relative of ours. Felt very much at home. The room was very good size and well kept. The village location was very quiet and easily accessible to various attractions we wanted to visit. The host were very knowledgeable about the tourist attraction and guided accordingly.
We needed private parking in a luxurious environment on our travel from Nottingham to Poole and then by ferry to home. Lucy's helpful guidance and the exceptional room that we enjoyed delivered this. Her recommendation of George and the Dragon at Rowde was awesome. The property is historically significant and very interesting. Thank you very much Lucy.
This is a nice hotel right in the main square and very close to the bus, which is how we arrived and left the village. We had dinner and breakfast also at the hotel. The room was lovely, a good size, and overlooked the square. Would stay here again if ever in town.
